...So carrying on with childrens game reviews I had to do one on the classic even I had as a child. Yes we are talking about Hungrey hippos. Some games just don't go out of style and this certainley has'nt, must stiil sell well. Made by MB games a long standing company of the production of childrens games and have been around since I was little maybe longer. Other games made by MB include Guess Who another old favourite, There are to many others to mention. PACKAGING The game comes in an easy to open cardboard box. Sweet Hippos

Advantages: taste nice, not sickly

...I have always been a fan of Kinder chocolate. Usually Galaxy and Cadbury win but I like the fact that Kinder doesn't just do strictly chocolate and have some unusual parts of their selection. I like the Kinder Maxi, Bueno and surprise but lately I have been finding that I like the Happy Hippo. I don't know why but at first when anyone used to offer me one of these Happy Hippo's I used to just not like the looks of it or want to try it. I think the fact that it wasn't chocolate made me feel less excited about trying it. However, I was really hungry one day and thought oh I'll give it a try. A Real Happy Hippo

Advantages: cute little animal shape, tasty, crunchy and creamy
Disadvantages: a bit messy with those white tidbits keeps on falling off, high in fat(117 cal)

...Everytime I visit the supermarket, I'm always on the look out for a snack that can add variety to my son's lunchbox. Something that he would enjoy while having his packed lunch in school. I found this kinder happy hippo in a colourful cardboard pack described as " Now Crispier Than Ever" and you can see the 5 individually wrap shaped like hippo. They are very appealing especially with the children. At first I'm quite hesitant because it appears to be one of those unhealthy sweet snacks, so i read the pack and found out that it has no artificial colours, no preservatives and no hydrogenated fats.   Hippo-ly, our rubbish has gone! Nearly.

Advantages: Cheaper than a skip, more convenient, easy to use

...We spent a while looking for different games we could buy our daughter for christmas something to keep her quiet once in a while.. and we came across this i remember having it as a child and loved it so we got her it for about £6 which i thought was pretty good value! She played it on christmas day with her daddy and oh my god if you have every tried to watch telly while someone is playing this .. you have no chance its one of the noisest games ive seen .. but it great fun and she played with it for hours.! ...I saw Kinder 'Happy Hippos' advertised on the TV a long time before i ever considered buying them. Because of the influence from the advert, I assumed they for young children. Afterall, they are called 'Happy Hippos' You couldn't really get more childish. WHAT IS A HAPPY HIPPO? Hazelnut-flavored cream-filled biscuit that has a shape like a hippopotamus. (although i don't think it really tastes much like hazelnut) WHAT DOES IT CONTAIN? sugar, vegetable fat, wheat flour, whole milk powder, low fat milk powder, low fat cocoa, hazelnuts, sweet whey powder, bittersweet chocolate, emulsifier: soja lecithine, dried egg white, natrium bicarbonate, ammonium bicarbonate, salt, vanillin. Hippo Bags - hopeless

Advantages: Easy to buy and use
Disadvantages: Collection is difficult or impossible if you live in a street with parked cars

...We recently renovated our front garden and thought Hippo Bags provided an economic and convenient alternative to skip hire. That was until we tried to arrange collection. Like many people who live in a busy urban area there are a large number of cars parked in our street. We don't usually know who owns the parked cars and have little control over who parks outside our house. It's a fairly normal picture for city dwellers but this appears to cause Hippo an insurmountable problem. The people from Hippo arrived early this morning to collect our bag and refused to take it. The bag is within the stipulated four metres from the point they need to make the collection but they have refused to pick the bag up because there are parked cars in the street. I rang the customer service helpline, thinking they would face this problem...

Hipp Hipp Hippo Hurray....

Advantages: Fun for a long time

...I am going to be honest here ? my hubby begged me to buy this game for my little boy (who is 3½) last Christmas but I knew it was for him. He may have tried to give me all the flannel about what a fun toy it was and how Charlie would love it ? all of which is true ? but I knew ? he wanted it and he wanted it bad. Having said that he was right ? it was one of the best Christmas presents we bought Charlie and he gets a lot of presents that that time of year because his birthday is on Boxing day.
