Get City Centre Hotel, in ROME!
Advantages: Great clean hotel, close to the train station and the centre of Rome
Disadvantages: Not very friendly to young couples
...Alex, and said look you can pick a hotel, flights and everything ? I wasn?t in university and I was happy to do whatever he decided. We?d originally planned to go over our anniversary in September but due to a surprise birthday present for me, we ended up going in August, so this really was the hottest time we could have gone to Rome. Regardless though it was a lovely break!

The Tower Hotel, London
Advantages: Great location on the river Thames
Disadvantages: prices on the higher side
...I booked the Tower Hotel in London via www.lastminute.com at a price of £150 for one night room only. This was a discounted price; they normally charge around £100-£120 per standard room a night, but as this was the Olympics prices have been increased and therefore £150 was a discount price.
but bearing in mind the location of right next to tower bridge and it was the Olympics I felt it was fair...
