Advantages: Cheap and central
Disadvantages: It can be noisy
...is a historical and central part of Edinburgh with plenty of pubs and bars which sounded pretty good to us so with not much more thought we decided to book the hotel. We were only required to pay a deposit of just over £20 and were to pay the balance on arrival at the hotel according to our confirmation. SPLIT DECISION FROM EDINBURGH JURY!
Advantages: Reasonable prices, easy booking, very central
Disadvantages: Expensive dial-up internet access, has the potential to be very noisy because of proximity to Waverley train station
