Purple washing up liquid!

...When in my local branch of Tesco?s the other week I needed to buy some washing up liquid and so headed to the relevant aisle in search of a good deal. I noticed that the Tesco Antibacterial Washing Up Liquid costing 92p for 500ml was on special offer of 2 bottles for £1.20. I thought this sounded like a good deal so I bought two bottles. The bottle is made from clear plastic and so is fully recycleable and has a flip top lid. Through the bottle I could see the lovely rich purple colour of the washing up liquid which is French Lavender fragrance. The notes on the back of the bottle offer the customer the ?best ever performance, cleaning ability and grease removal?. There are instructions for use on the back of the bottle although I can?t imagine anyone actually needing to read instructions on how to use washing up...

...Why, oh why, I ask myself, do good brand names play around with their products and end up making them worse, instead of better. It happened with Special K when they converted to bigger flakes instead of the tiny ones and the taste was ruined. Um! Sorry getting carried away on another topic. Well, what they have done to Persil washing up liquid is a similar thing. (No, they haven?t made it into flakes.) Something has happened to the formula. I used to use Persil for when I hand wash dishes but went over to Fairy. The other day I decided to go back because I spotted a beautifully, milky, pale green coloured aloe vera Persil liquid and I really quite fancied it. Anyway, I did my usual and just squirted the liquid into the wash up bowl, added hot water and started the job. There were a lot of bubbles for amount of the product I had used...

LOOKS While most washing-up liquids are usually green in colouration, or perhaps Yellow if it's a lemon scented one, this stuff I recall is either a clear or clear with a whitish tinge to it....... in other words it looks a bit like sperm. Persil Washing Up Liquid

...My mother in-law is always on the look out for offers whenever she shops and stock up on things that don't have expiry dates such as toilet rolls and washing up liquid. I personally use the Tesco's own brand because it's cheap and cleans just as well but my mother in-law recently found an offer on this washing up liquid and gave me a couple of bottles so here I am to give you my review. The bottle is unlike most washing up liquids as it is not clear but a vibrant yellow with a green flip top lid. It dents in slightly near the top on both sides, I'm assuming this is for an easy grip as it doesn't curve in the middle like others. The label states clearly that it is a concentrated washing up liquid by Persil and this one is particular is the Lemon Zing flavour. The size of the bottle is also on the top of the label, mine is a 500ml...

Tesco Washing up Liquid

...Tesco Washing Up Liquid This is Tesco supermarkets own brand of dish washing liquid. It comes in a 375 ml plastic see through bottle with a red plastic flip cap. The bottle costs 68p and is available in a variety of different flavours including Lemon and Spring Apple. This is not to be confused with the cheaper Value Brand Liquid that costs around 15p per bottle and is substancially lower in quality. I use this product reqularly. The liquid is thick yet pours easily from the bottle without clogging the cap. The different varieties smell great and really really fresh. I find the liquid to be very effective in washing dishes, pots and pans etc. I would go as far to say that I find it as useful and effective as the leading brand of liquid. I have never had a dirty pot etc. that I have been unable to cean with this product...
