Persil washing up liquid: perfume for crockery

Advantages: Does the job
Disadvantages: Leaves scent is cups and mugs

...Why, oh why, I ask myself, do good brand names play around with their products and end up making them worse, instead of better. It happened with Special K when they converted to bigger flakes instead of the tiny ones and the taste was ruined. Um! Sorry getting carried away on another topic. Well, what they have done to Persil washing up liquid is a similar thing. (No, they haven?t made it into flakes.) Something has happened to the formula. I used to use Persil for when I hand wash dishes but went over to Fairy. The other day I decided to go back because I spotted a beautifully, milky, pale green coloured aloe vera Persil liquid and I really quite fancied it. Anyway, I did my usual and just squirted the liquid into the wash up bowl, added hot water and started the job. There were a lot of bubbles for amount of the product I had used...

Surcare - a gentle washing up liquid

...Whilst wandering around our local branch of Tesco?s the other week I noticed a display of ?discount items? not to be confused with the Tesco Value or Tesco Market Value range. The discount range all have a small square flash on them in yellow with the words ?discount brands at Tesco? in red and a £ sign being cut with a pair of scissors. ...'s pretty weak, and the suds don't last as long as a proper washing-up liquid such as Fairy Liquid, and it smells REALLY bad. LOOKS While most washing-up liquids are usually green in colouration, or perhaps Yellow if it's a lemon scented one, this stuff I recall is either a clear or clear with a whitish tinge to it....... in other words it looks a bit like sperm. SMELL This is the worst part of it, which I can best describe as an extremely strong sulfur smell....... or perhaps similar to the not particularly delightful odour you may encounter while walking past a sewage farm. Persil Washing Up Liquid

...My mother in-law is always on the look out for offers whenever she shops and stock up on things that don't have expiry dates such as toilet rolls and washing up liquid. I personally use the Tesco's own brand because it's cheap and cleans just as well but my mother in-law recently found an offer on this washing up liquid and gave me a couple of bottles so here I am to give you my review. The bottle is unlike most washing up liquids as it is not clear but a vibrant yellow with a green flip top lid. It dents in slightly near the top on both sides, I'm assuming this is for an easy grip as it doesn't curve in the middle like others. The label states clearly that it is a concentrated washing up liquid by Persil and this one is particular is the Lemon Zing flavour. ...Tesco Washing Up Liquid This is Tesco supermarkets own brand of dish washing liquid. It comes in a 375 ml plastic see through bottle with a red plastic flip cap. The bottle costs 68p and is available in a variety of different flavours including Lemon and Spring Apple. This is not to be confused with the cheaper Value Brand Liquid that costs around 15p per bottle and is substancially lower in quality. I use this product reqularly. The liquid is thick yet pours easily from the bottle without clogging the cap. The different varieties smell great and really really fresh. I find the liquid to be very effective in washing dishes, pots and pans etc. I would go as far to say that I find it as useful and effective as the leading brand of liquid. I have never had a dirty pot etc. that I have been unable to cean with this product...

Fairy washing up liquid kind to your hands

Advantages: Kind to skin long lasting, good value for money
Disadvantages: lavender type isnt the best to buy

...I usually use the original fairy liquid they all seem to hold all the same attributes you dont need to use alot of this to make a bowl of washing up and it works well to dissolve the tough food that is stuck on the bowls. I was up about 3 times a day we seem to cause alot of washing up in out house so my hands are always in water and this does not seem to dry out my hands it keeps them feeling soft and like ladies hands should be it doesnt weaken my nails either. I get mine on a 2 for £2 from asda which is great and it holds a 30% extra free in each bottle too which is great because it lasts me longer a bottle will last me between 2 to 3 weeks. It is good value for money keeps your hands feeling soft and as the advert says mild fairy liquid it is definatley mild which you will experiance when you have used it. I wouldnt...
