How invisible can one get?

Advantages: Well written, educational, inspiring, funny
Disadvantages: Can be rather depressing

...Another one of my problems with books is that the ones I tend to pick up are the stupidly depressing ones, 'A Boy Named It', 'Sickened', 'Don't Tell Mummy', the list is endless?and one of the more recent ones is this one - 'The Invisible Girl'. To give credit it is written in such a way that it doesn't seem depressing a lot of the time, but you cannot say that the basic story is in any way, shape or form a happy one. It is not however the same as the books mentioned above, because it is not written by the main person who the book is about, it cannot be said to be a quick buck for someone jumping on the gravy train and writing about their traumatic past. The book is written by Debbie Barham's father, and the reason for this alone is simple, the book starts with Debbie's death from anorexia on Easter Monday 2003. Boring Details...

The Invisible Bastard.

Advantages: After reading it you can read other, more exciting books! Not by H.G Wells!
Disadvantages: Its just really slow and monotonous, and dry like Jacobs crackers.

Arthur and the Invisibles for the Nintendo DS - lots of variety!

Advantages: Lots of variety, good graphics and sound
Disadvantages: Needs multiple copies in multi-player mode, limited long-term interest

...This review is for the Nintendo DS game, Arthur and the Invisibles, developed by Neko Entertainment and published by Atari. This is an action game which is fast paced and primarily involves working through over ninety mini games to progress through the game. The game is a licence of the feature film of the same name, but doesn't really relate very heavily to that film. You can choose between three different gameplay modes, challenge mode, virtual pet simulator or multiplayer mode. The Invisible Man - A classic!

Advantages: Brilliant special effects, very good storyline and well casted
Disadvantages: Sometimes predictable

...As far as classic thrillers go, this one has to be one of the best. Made in 1933 when horror was just becoming popular, James Whale directs a masterpiece original using special effects never seen before (and invisible man! something editing had never seen before!). Claude Rains does a fantastic job as Jack Griffin, a psychotic scientist driven on a rampage as he searches for the cure to his invisibility. Casting of this film is fantastic, with Gloria Stewart starring along side Rains as Jack's girlfriend, aiding the police in the capture of Jack before he kills again and causes even more mayhem! Anyone who has read H.G Wells book, which is where the film is adapted from, will know the similiarities, and how Whale has included as much as the original text as possible, and succeeded in it brilliantly! Not as invisible as it states

Advantages: Drys quickly, Less noticeable white mark... but it's still there!

...Dove Invisible Dry I have read a few reviews on this product and can't say I was as impressed as some. Dove Invisible Dry claims that is doesn't leave you with the dreaded white mark as many deodorants do. Although it didn't leave a distinct white mark, I found I still had a faint mark - not a good look! To be honest, I much prefer a roll-on deodorant such as Palmolive which I have previously reviewed. Dove have many products out today, ranging from soap, shampoo and deodorant. I find all the products tend to smell very similar to one another and pretty soapy. To me, I didn't particularly like the fragrance of this deodorant. It smelt soapy instead of floral or fresh like many deodorants in the market do these days. In fact, some deodorants smell like some perfumes, and to me this deodorant wasn't like that at all...

Deus Ex - Invisible Bore

Advantages: Detailed game engine
Disadvantages: Short and unexciting plot

...I am a fan of the original Deus Ex, though it had somewhat stiff graphics against the competition, it had an epic plot with non-linear directions you could choose. As with many hyped sequels Deus Ex: Invisible War's release date was pushed back a few times across 2003 until it finally came out March this year. DX: IW is a first person shooter with a role playing management element. The Story --------- The world is at an invisible war where many opposing groups are fighting in controlled secret for their ideal movement for a better future. JC Denton and his brother Paul Denton both make a return appearance in this game with their proposed solution to "The Collapse" they were blamed to have caused at the conclusion of the first game.
