Format of the day The day commences with a bus journey (transfers are included from your hotel) from Dalyan to Gocek harbour, which is approximately half an hour away. All alone on an island

...A pleasant little film this one, not the greatest children's adventure film ever made, but a reasonable effort. Synopsis Nim is an 11 year old girl who lost her mother when she was a toddler. He father who's a writer and marine biologist told her she was swallowed by a blue whale which was on the run from a ship called the Buccaneer. Nim and her father Jack live on an island they discovered after sailing around the world for several years. They are the only inhabitants, unless you count a collection of animals which Nim has befriended, included a sealion, a bearded dragon and a pelican. ...Well, continuing with my reviews of my time in Florida I thought I would right about the next theme park I visited, "The Island of Adventures" part of the Universal Studios branch, located in Orlando Florida. Having never even heard about this park, and already purchasing a multipass I figured I might as well check this place out. I can honestly say I would compare this place to being just as goods as Universal Studios. Advantages: Clearly written. Nice progression.
Disadvantages: Some tragedy but it all might end in something good, is that naive?

The bookseller tried to put me off it, he said it was by that Hislop woman who he thought was the wife of some obnoxious T.V. critic. In fact it's by Victoria Hislop who writes travel features for the Sunday Telegraph, parenting and education for the Daily Telegraph and general features for Woman and Home. I don't know any more about her. It's published by Headline Book Publishing, cost £6.99, ISBN 0-7553-0951-0. I found a round sticker on it saying Richard and Judy's Summer Read and thought I might have got the wrong thing; the Observer calls it a "beach book" with a heart. Dark island, the beer of Orkney

...I recently visited Orkney and in between seeing ancient sites and natural wonders I also sampled a fair few of the local beers and to my delight found that many of them would make a visit to the islands worthwhile all on their own. Of course it is also possible to get the beer beyond the isles in various pubs around Britain on tap and bottled. ...All the ideas of this film are taken from other places. The whole one story which we think is right and actually turns out to be the total opposite is taken from The Running Man. The whole being chased, once again The Running Man & Blade Runner, also Logan's Run. Iceland - Free delivery!

Advantages: Fairly small easy to get around, lots of variety, cheaper bread!
Disadvantages: None really.

...My review is based on our local Iceland in Harlow, Essex. I go here quite frequently with my sister, as she's on her own during the day and has four children (3 at school) it's impossible for her to push the babies basket and do a full weeks shopping so I am always on hand to help out. As soon as we arrive at the store my sister goes over to the Home Delivery area (just a little stand with a notebook or something similar on it) and gives them her surname and then advises them that she is doing her shopping now and she normally books a slot for the same day either 1-3pm or 3-5pm, this is about 10am that we are booking it so there always seems to be slots available the same day if you go nice and early. Once we pick up a trolley (with a massive bar on the right hand side to stop you leaving the store with it) you can begin to browse...

...The Blue Lagoon in Iceland is an experience that cannot really be described without being there first hand, but I will try no less to tell you about this lovely place. Location / Getting There ------------------------------ The Lagoon is based in the middle of nowhere in Iceland; it is about a 35-40 minute drive from Reykjavik via road, and is a short detour past Keflavik airport.
