A Journey back in time!

Advantages: Great pop/rock from US masters and re-issued with missing tracks
Disadvantages: Some fillers and most prefer the previous release 'Escape'

Review of Frontiers - Journey

My 'Journey' to becoming a fan!

Advantages: An excellent introduction to Journey
Disadvantages: None

...Journey are a band I have grown to like more and more over the last 3 or 4 years. The only song I really knew by them was the ballad 'Open Arms' which has been covered by a few artists including Mariah Carey. I really liked this song and downloaded another ballad by them titled 'Faithfully' which I often listened to on my pc. I was browsing at a car boot sale a few years ago and saw a cassette of their album 'Raised On Radio' for 20p. I bought it and listened to it in my car while driving home. I liked it right away and from then on have grown to really like Journey. A long, strange and wonderful journey that you'll never forget

Advantages: Incredibly well written, great characters, intelligent & deep but also lively & funny
Disadvantages: None except that there'll never be anything quite this good

Journey South

Advantages: Great voices, brothers are very easy on the eye!
Disadvantages: No original tracks

...This is the debut album from Andy and Cal also know as Journey South. Andy and Carl are brother who shot to fame on the X-Factor. They had been singing together for years and had spent all of their time touring the country playing small gigs and singing in pubs and clubs. All of their hard work paid off when they auditioned for the X-Factor and easily made it through to the live finals. Unfortunately the brothers did not win the show, much to my disapointment, but they did very well which lead to this album. A short but poignant journey

Advantages: Ideal study aid for the GCSE student
Disadvantages: None

...I read this book because my daughter was studying Journey's End for her GCSE English Literature exam this summer. I had never read it before, nor seen the play, so I thought it would be good idea to read it for myself so I could then discuss some of it with her. I should point out that Journey's End is actually a play and not a novel and it is the play that is being studied at GCSE, not this book in particular. Also, when reading Journey's End you need to keep in mind that it is written for actors with the intention of it being performed to an audience and so comes complete with stage directions. An Idyllic Journey....

Advantages: Light reading
Disadvantages: a Little cheesy

...I have read Danielle Steel books for years, and I have even watched the occasional cheesy film version on Sky Premier and Hallmark on early mornings when I have been suffering from Insomnia. Journeys With George

Advantages: Shows a unique side of a powerful man.
Disadvantages: Technical quality is rather poor.

Journey into the fire!!

Advantages: Interesting story
Disadvantages: Not exactly compelling at the start

...Journey to the Centre of the Earth by Jules Verne is another book that you will find in my top-ten favourite reads. To be honest though when I first picked up the book I wasn't too sure about it and even after reading the first couple of chapters I still wasn't sure I was going to like it. But the more I read on the more I became hooked and eventually I fond it extremely difficult to put the book down. When Professor Lindenbrock discovers an ancient parchment bearing cryptogram maps that he believes will show him the way Dante took to the centre of the Earth he knows straight away that he must follow them. With his nephew Axel, who is the narrator of the novel, alongside him Lindenbrock travels to Iceland where he enlists the help of brutally strong guide Hans who is to aid them on their journey. Advantages: The Journey, pure pop
Disadvantages: Its very cheesy!
