...--- Fast Lane Double Loop Set.. --- This was an extra that we picked up in the last-minute-mad-christmas-shop when we went to get the Boys Hot Wheels crash thingy and a Scalextric Set. It cost £5.99 from Toys 'R' Us and at that price well why not ?! From the pictures on the box it seems a lot like the Hot Wheels sets what with the track and the ZOOOoom and the cars. But the recommended age is 3+ The main concern was whether it would fit with the Hot Wheels cars and track that Boy already has - I can happily report YES it does. All the cars that fit his Hot Wheels track will fit this one though the track is a TINY bit smaller and sides a bit lower it will still all fit and work together. HOORAY ! ...There's not an awful lot you can say about hook and loop fasteners, most people will know it as Velcro but they're not allowed to call it that because it's a trademark. Anyway, I was looking for something to secure a speaker to the boot of my car without having to drill holes into the body. I came up with the idea of using self-adhesive velcro pads, which these are, I only used the hook part of the pads as they stuck to the carpet anyway. The pack I bought was £2.29 for 24 sticky velcro pads, you get both the hook and loop part in the pack. Each pad is about 2cm x 2cm and you just peel off the back and stick it to what you like. The hook part is yellow and the loop part is white, not sure if that matters too much. They're useful for anything really, especially items in a car as they won't slide around when you're turning... ...I have been using a boss RC-20XL for about a year now and I must say I have found it a usefull and dynamic little piece of kit, but then when shops are asking around £160 for something it had better be usefull and a whole lot more to boot. I mainly use this when messing around with song ideas at home but I have used it at small university gigs and I can say that I haven't ever had any problems with it in the time that I've had it. Knowing its a Boss pedal is reasuring to me because I've had other old Boss pedals in the past and they have lasted forever. Basically this pedal acts as a Phrase recorder/Loop station allowing you to record a loop and then overdub your previous sound to begin building up layers into what can be an almost orchestral effect live on stage with only one guitar which is a pretty inpressive effect... GENERAL INFORMATION Based on the packaging and advertising, Honey Loops are aimed at the 4 to 10 year old market, which sort of makes me feel like a kid when I go to buy them. I would describe them as a nicer version of Nestle Cheerios (For those of you who have tried them). The cereal itself consists of mixed wholegrain cereal loops with honey.
