Advantages: A few really good tracks, some De La Soul tunes you have never heard before

...Bad boy records is back with avengence with this great remix cd. Normally I am not keen on artists releasing CD's with just remixes of old songs on as I think it is personally a cop out. This remix cd I am glad to say is different! There are remix of very popular songs such as "Foolish" by Ashanti and also "No more Drama" by the real queen of RnB Mary J. But you also get some great new songs such as "I need a girl" part one and two, which are brilliant, although I really think he should let J Lo go now!!! Production/Beats: As you would expect with a Diddy production it is very tight! Beats are very funky and clear/crisp and every song which has been remixed sounds much better! ...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Why I brought the DVD ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I purchased High School Musical The Remix Edition as I loved High School Musical and was searching for the DVD everywhere but couldn't find it, the only DVD's available were the Remix Edition and the concert, so I picked up the remix edition and looked on the back to find out there are two versions on the DVD - the original and also a sing along version including many bonus features so I thought this sounded great - and I have not been dissappointed. ~~~~~~~~~~ About the DVD ~~~~~~~~~~ I loved it even better with the singalong version. I was worried that the whole film would be subtitled but only the words come up on screen when a song is being sang - this is great as everyone loves to sing along but no one quite knows the words! Advantages: There's alot!!!! - Like most perfumes - the fragrance and design
Disadvantages: Not too overpowering, so the fragance may not stay 'til end of the day

...Emporio Arme remix - She I absolutely LOVE this perfume. Smell It has a soft, non overpowering floral scent which is really gorgeous, made from (apparently) "A sparkling, icy and fruity opening with pear, cranberries and star anise. An energetic combination with freesia, peony, magnolia and almond tones. A wild and sensual conclusion with cedar, sandalwood and musks ". Because it is not too overpowering, it is a perfume you can simply psray and step out of the door, rather than frantically spread the amount over you body so it isn't too strong. My only complaint is that it may not linger for as long as other perfumes. I love it, as a perfume it is so versatle, suitable on a night out, formal, and everyday. Advantages: Great songs remixed and given new meaning
Disadvantages: Not enough variety but still great

...I was sceptical as to whether this was a ploy used by the band just to sell a few more albums. However, this remixed collection of hits arguably sounds more important than the original masterpiece. Bloc Party have left onto the Brtish indie scene in 2005 and their debut 'Silent Alarm' EP was won them much accliam throughout the UK. The remixed version sounds, in one word, amazing. Opening track 'Like Eating Glass' sounds very echoed. A beautiful synth pad in the background gives the song a whole new feel. The song is mellower than the original but is absolutely fantastic. Hit song 'Banquet' is given a pounding beat. After the long intro it kicks in. There is a definite electronica feel, juxtaposed with the original guitar riffs. It sounds incredible. Advantages: Its another one to add to the collection and is a nice collection of B-Side songs.
Disadvantages: Its a bit pricey for what you get.

.... The tune itself is really beautiful little number. It makes you think. Fela's C**k is a up beat instrumental that will have your head nodding to the grooves. Sikamikanico rocks! Its taken from Waynes World (When they're driving along in the Mirth Mobile) and it just blows your mind. Last but not least Search and Destroy. Its a good track and is a cover but I'm not quite sure whom (I think its Iggy Pop). CD3 the REMIX CD has got 2 different versions of Give it Away and 3 different versions of If you have to Ask. They're not bad but its just a bit weird hearing someone sticking dance beats over the Chili's songs. To sum things up most of the songs are taken from Blood Sugar... and are actually featured as B-Sides on the singles they released from Blood Sugar..(Give it Away, Under the Bridge etc.) so unless you're a diehard fan... ...Have you looked at your mobile phone bill lately? Have you? Or like me, have you hidden it under the sofa? Go on have a look. Are you too spending the budget of a small banana republic on text messages? The Horror ~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm on Orange everyday 50, which is a pretty fair talk plan, I recon. I get my 50 minutes off peak calls free to landlines and to other Orange phones, which is a blessed relief on the bill. But the text messages, all those little 10 pence's add up. My May to June bill shows that I made 149 text messages, that's £14.90 alone. Just for the likes of "Are you coming down the pub?" and "Have you bathed the dog?" or even "Can you pass the salt?" Advantages: Easy and free

...I've only been using SMS Text messaging for a few weeks, but find it invaluable for short messages, especially when my mobile or the one I'm sending to are in poor signal areas. Voice calls can be so badly distorted - and easily cut off - but at least text messages get through with no corruption. However, the one drawback is the time taken to write a message. This is now overcome by sending messages from my PC using Lycos.co.uk who offer a service for FREE TEXT MESSAGES! Now I can type in a message in a few seconds - and send it anywhere in the UK at NO COST. In fact, if I want to send a longer message, I just write several short ones, as there is NO COST involved at all, especially as I have free internet access (including free online calls) - see my opinion of World Online on Ciao in the ISP section.... Advantages: Great insight to how Islam became, via the prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Disadvantages: Lots of violence (true story of what really happened)

...Directed by Moustapha Akkad, 1976, this is a thrilling movie based on the true story of the life of the prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him (PBUH). I watched this movie a few days ago, never heard of it before, but once I watched it, I realised how much I enjoyed the movie, definitely one of the best I have ever seen. Packed with the whole truth of how the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delivered the message of God and slowly built a huge population of people who believed him and followed the path of Islam.
