...I think that the staff there at Abbey national are quite nice ther but I think the actual design or layout of the department needs to be improved. I think when I walked in I did not really feel comfortable there and this lead me to not like the place that much. They do not offer a very higher interest rate there, this was a definite put off because I searched around other building societies and found that they offered a higher interest rates so I abandoned abbey national. I don’t recommend it if you want high interest for your savings.... Read review

All was approved, and my friend paid Abbey National the appropriate fee. Later, however, the Abbey National sent someone to value the property. It was valued significantly lower than the purchase price, the asking price and another independent valuation. ...I now own the 4 Cds from the Ministry of Sound's Trance Nation series, and I still rate the second one as the best! It is well put together by System-F, Ferry Corsten, and all the 'right' tunes come out in a classic order. Although most of the tunes are dated now, if you love trance then its well worth a listen to. The Trance Nation series are a cut above the numerous other trance cd compilations that get spun out with a real commercial feel to them. Most people I have spoken to on a dance chatboard agree that Trance Nation 2 is a topper! Definately one for your CD collection. By the way the other 3 cds in the series are good too!... Read review

Advantages: Help poorer nations to prosper and stop diseases
Disadvantages: Countries that are owed money ending up poor

...I feel world debt should be abolished and placed into funds for charity and to fight diseases. countries that owe the international monetry fund money are burdened and crippled with interest which is unfair. Billions and billions of pounds, dollars, yens, and other foreign currencys are owed to very rich companys and financial institutions this money could help the poor nations however it is only making the rich more richer and powerfull. Some will say that the money is owed and should be repayed however in the circumstances where a country is burdened by debt and cannot pay it back it should be waived The poor nations like in africa should not pay debt back until it is seen that they are becoming self sufficent. The big nations have already started waiving countries debts off as they know they cannot pay it back and the country... Read review

...I have divided this opinion in to to sections. The website, and national express in general. THE SITE: The site is a very good way to book tickets!. Its fast, efficant, and saves time and money. Not only can you book tickets, but you can find timetable information, fares, buy travelcards, weekend holidays and much more. They accept pretty much any credit or debit card, including solo!. And usually they despatch tickets so you get them in 2-3 days, which is good!. Compaired to other booking sites, I would say gobycoach is very good. It used to be worse, but it has been improved!. It is poerful, the pages load quick, and I have never had any problems. You can also collect premier points for using the site - even better! ...Having banked with most of the high streets banks either personally or via my business, it is refreshing to deal with National Westiminster. I have always been treated with the upmost respect and it this day and age it is nice to feel that you are a customer rather than simply an account number. Living in an area where some other banks are closing their smaler branches it is great that National Westminster promise to put this on hold. I rarely have to wait to get served, the staff are polite and when I have asked for details of any of their services, there is never any hard sell but details have been sent promptly.... Read review

...Abbey national - Pleasant enough service, but lacks in the quality department. When I had a bank account here, at first I thought "hmm, i am getting a good deal here". For me, as this was my first bank account, I thought interest rates were reasonable. Then I looked around and saw that other building societies were offering a higher interest amount. Therefore, I changed to Nationwide. Overall - From my own knowledge, this is a poor bank if you only want a savings account, but from others, they are ok for mortages.... Read review

...Although Arsenal and other top clubs are catching them up in the foreign content of their team, Chelsea are still reknowned as the league of Nations. There are many occasions during the season where there is not 1 British player on the pitch for them. I think this is a poor show on the combined standard of players around from our home nations. Obviously you can understand that a manager must pick his strongest side but this is undermined when supporters are going to games to watch English football played by foreigners. It is damaging the grass roots level of football which is becoming more and more apparent.... Read review
