...The number of strategy games on the market is multiplying very fast. Some of them are simply boring or end too quickly. Because of that it is not easy to find a really good game and enjoy it every single time. With Earth 2160 does not matter if you play a few hours every day, once a week or month. Each time you find something new. When I say new I mean for example terrain, number of opponents and their type, difficulties level and so on. The most important and valuable thing of this game is skirmish mode. Thanks that option each game is different and gives you opportunity to challenge yourself against computer's IQ. Each time when changing the difficulties level, opponents behave cleverer. What I Found very valuable in Earth 2160 is that computer is not repeating the same moves all the time or not placing same building in same place... Read review

Scientist The Quiet Earth is a masterpiece of New Zealand filmmaking; it was the first New Zealand made film I had ever seen. And for it's obviously very small budget the crew pulled off a phenomenal looking piece. Entire city centres were cleared of people to make an eerie feel to the whole story; and you can easily believe that a disaster has indeed occurred. As the movie progresses it transpires that Zach is not quite alone, and that unless something is done that the same thing that happened the night before will happen again killing the remaining survivors of the Earth. It's the future, and three factions are battling over vital resources: the Lunar Corporation (LC), the United Civilized States (UCS) and the Slavic-dominated Eurasian Dynasty (ED). There's a bit more to the story, but frankly, it's just pleasant window dressing. You want to play the tutorial. While the basic elements of RTS gameplay are the same here as they are anywhere else (concentrate your forces during battle, group your units, etc.), the commands in Earth 2150 take a bit of getting used to. The tutorial also teaches you everything you need to know about what the different structures do, when to build them, and why. Disadvantages: Very long, perhaps overly so, and extremely far fetched.

..., deception and good luck, Johnny enlists the help of the other peoples of Earth to help him defeat the Psychlos, which has unforseen consequences in the multi-dimensional universe, and places Johnny in a position where he again has to save the Earth this time from more insitious forces. I'd happily recommend this book to anyone who doesn't expect scientific accuracy from their fiction, and to those who are prepared to accept a certain level of unbelievability in the characterisations. For those who can't make these allowances, and for those who prefer their sci-fi rooted in the plausible, this probably isn't a book they would greatly enjoy. I'm sure that as with most Hollywood projects, the film will depart from the book greatly, and new copies of the book will in all likelihood follow the screenplay. If you can yet a copy... ...This is a review on the game called Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth, the newest instalment to the Lord of the Rings games. This game is the best strategy game of the year, and has loads of stuff for you to play and have fun with on this game.
