...For all those that have read my toy reviews you will now know that I am an avid Fisher Price fan well my children are of course lol. (Rich I do buy them for myself really) I have noticed that I have written about all the Fisher Price products that I have been impressed with but here I am going to balance it up a bit with my review on the Fisher Price Amazing Animal Learning Train. I bought this for my youngest about 9 months ago for £30 as it looked great and educational and seemed to really be yet another Fisher Price marvel but I must say I ended up wishing I had spent the £30 elsewhere. One taking it home and opening it up it looked like I had spent a lot on very little. ...Remember the Fisher Price Garage from the 1960/70’s? Well it’s back. Updated with some of the old features intact. ~~~ CONSTRUCTION ~~~ Like most Fisher Price toys these days, they come in lots of pieces and it can take a while to construct. We tend to pre-build such toys before Christmas and birthdays to avoid disappointment and wrap them loosely built. This one however was a present from my son’s Auntie so no such time was allowed for it to be built. Fortunately, at 13 months, my son didn’t know what he was missing out on! It took my husband who is quite good at things like this a good ½ hour to assemble it following the instructions. It has quite a few bits and loads of screws so it really needs to be assembled away from active children. After his efforts, it was left for me to spend 10 minutes putting all the stickers... Disadvantages: Gearing too low for speed on downhills

...I purchased a Gary Fisher Nirvana as a deeply discounted "clearance" item in the late 1990s, and have used it for short commuting and longer weekend rides ever since. The cro-moly frame and fork have worked smoothly and held up well, the wheels have taken a pounding without distorting, and the gears are still functioning without flaw. The small frame accepted fenders, luggage rack, and other unstylish but useful add-ons. This hybrid bike has been nimble, easy to pedal, and durable. My criticisms -- the gearing range is too narrow to generate much speed going down hills and on flats. And the small diameter tires are somewhat inefficient for long distances on the road though ideal for mixed on road and off road use. ...When I was younger I remember my dad getting pearl drops. I don't know why, but I wanted to use it. I'd ask my dad if I could use it and usually he would refuse me saying I was too young to be using it. It seems silly looking back on it now why I wanted to use it in the first place. Usually kids go after sweets, but I wanted to try Pearl Drops. I think what attracted me to the bottle was the way it used to stand it looked so neat. The colours attracted me too. It just looked so different compared to other toothpastes. The bottle was shaped differently it wasn’t in a tube like other toothpaste and I think that made me curious. ...You may have heard of Lucy Pearl, you may not. But I can tell you they have had some hits recentely, including "Don't Mess With My Man" and "Without You". And they have collaborated with rap superstar Snoop Dogg. So, there quite important in the music scene then. There new album, which is self-titled Lucy Pearl is a collection of some very smooth R&B numbers mixed in with some rap collaborations (Q-Tip and Snoop Dogg). It's R&B, but not as we know it. R&B has become very pop (aka. crap), with artists like Destiny's Child* and their contemporaries just doing a "I love my boy / I want to kill my boy / I want my boy back", and with artists like Usher, you can replace boy with girl. But Lucy Pearl's album seems a bit more real in terms of cool beats, well-written. (* I didn't mind Independent Woman Pt. 1 though, but just don't tell... Read review
