...Lucy Daniels is an amazing author who wrote the childrens collection of books called Animal Ark - a series about Mandy Hope, daughter of vets, and her love for animals. One of the books in the series is Pony in the Porch. Cover: A cover is the first thing you see with a book so it is important that it draws you in. Personally, I feel that this one does do just that. There is a gorgeous picture of a horse on the front, standing in what looks like a stable doorway. It is a very bright and sunny picture, very attractive and certainly drew me in. Plot: Mandy falls in love with a horse, and when she finds out that it is in danger by its snotty owner, the decides she must try and help the horse. But can she save him before its too late? I think this is quite a nice little plot. It is full of adventure and action, but is not too busy either...

The RRP of this book is £7.99 which is quite steep even though it is a nice little book. You can buy them used on Amazon at anything from 0.01p upwards with £2.75 shipping fee though even with the postage cost, that overall price is quite good for this book. We were lucky and went one better and found this book for only 0.50p so both my daughter and I were very pleased. Once upon a time they really would have been "MY" Little Ponies.

Advantages: Well made toys. Nostalgic qualities.
Disadvantages: Dont fit alongside modern ponies well. Hard to find.

Excellent buy for the small pony owner!

...Having looked for set's of travel boots for many little ponies over the years, I have to admit the Cuddly Ponies range is fantastic. Their entire range of rugs and equestrian gear is superbly made, with materials that do not rub the ponies coat, and most of all are tailored to a ponies conformation. Many rug companies just resize the design of their rug and equipment patterns, which often means that the fit is not suitable to a small pony. The travel boots are very tough and dureable, are waterproof, and most of all correctly protect the ponies hocks. I have often used travel bandages for little ponies, which is often time consuming in a rush. Using Cuddly ponies travel boot's saves alot of time, and often mean's that the ponies legs are much better protected, due to the much thicker material of the boot, which ensures to...
