...I love anything chocolate so when I spotted something new in Woolworths, you know what it's like, you just have to try it. Even in the name or research, hahah! Well these are Galaxy Promises. The name in itself for me is enough to lure me to spend my hard earned cash. It's almost like a hidden treasure 'promises'! Well I hope so. Anyway, they are a new line and Woolworths had the following flavours:- Rich Coffee - Caramel Crunch Cocoa Crisp - Roast Hazlenut The one I am reviewing is the Galaxy Promises - Caramel Crunch and the cost of my 40 gm bar was 45p They are also available in 100 gm bars at a cost of 99p I tried finding a website to see if there was any other flavours available but was not able to get any further than a basic mars site, no mention of Galaxy Promises at all. ...Galaxy have done it again. They had me lusting after the Galaxy Promises Roast Hazelnut (see my previous review). Well after my wife gave me that i had to go out and get more. Instead I found Galaxy promises Caramel Crunch. It was £1.05 in the Spar shop at the end of my road. I have however seen it in Asda for 98p, for a 100g bar. The even better bit is my wife doesnt like caramel. So i get to eat this one all to myself. There is a god...lol. --------------- Packaging: --------------- The wrapper is a golden yellow, dare is say it, caramel colour. With a picture of the chocolate in the top left and bottom right hand corners. In the centre is the Galaxy logo above the word Promises in raised gold letters. ...Im back with yet another chocolate review. I know how the other chocoholics have been missing me telling them what they should and should not be eating....lol. This time i have decided to true the Galaxy Cocoa Crisp. One of the Promises range that im sure you will have seen advertised on TV. A mixture of milk and dark chocolate with crispy cereal pieces. Advantages: Brilliantly written.

There are more, so many more. SO WILL YOU ENJOY IT? This novel can be read on many levels, if the symbolism goes over your head thats fine because its a good story, you really want to know how things will work out for each character. If you enjoy a bloody well written multi-layered novel then there is plenty here to keep you happy, this is no AGA saga. The standard of writing is high and I will definitely be looking for other books by this author. ...Those of you who read my reviews on a regular basis will know that I am something of a chocoholic. I often write about bars which I have tried and, in most cases, very much enjoyed. On a recent shopping trip, I could not resist a wander down the confectionery aisle. As I browsed the shelves, I came across a chocolate bar which I had not seen before. The bar in question was Galaxy Promises. So why had I not seen it before? Well simply because it has only recently come onto the market. It sits conveniently alongside standard bars of Galaxy chocolate and retails for around 99p (100g bar). The new Galaxy Promises range comprises a variety of different flavours, from 'Caramel Crunch' to 'Rich Coffee', 'Roast Hazelnut' and 'Cocoa Crisp'. ...When i watched Eastern Promises i hadn't read any reviews of it, and simply didn't know even what it was about. Don't make the same mistake as me and for some reason i can't think why, i assumed it was a martial arts film. Eastern promises is actually a film about the russian mafia. Although i have watched many movies about the italian mafia, i cannot remember watching a film about russians. The film is directed by David Cronenberg ( a history of violence) and stars Viggo Mortenson as Nikolai, a driver for the mafia boss and his son. Mortenson is the reason i was drawn to this film as i have been a fan since he was Aragorn in the Lord of the rings trilogy. Also starring in the film are Vincent Cassell ( the night fox in oceans 12 and 13) , who plays Kirill the son of the boss and Naomi Watts ( The ring and King Kong) who plays Anna... Read review

...Introduction The usual Saturday morning shopping trip to my local Co-op who keep placing delightful treats in my way that just happen to be on offer so how can I resist? I love these but don't them very often because I get through them far to quickly a bit like the Pringles saying "Once you pop you can't stop" well the same applies here. The Promises range is part of the Galaxy group who are owned by Masterfoods Corporation. There are four different flavours of the Promises range, which include Coco Crisp, Caramel Crunch, Rich Coffee and Roast Hazelnut. The latter is my favourite.
