...Calling Captain Rock Captain Rock born Ronald Wayne Greene is one of the great showmen of Hip Hop, and is happy on stage as he is in the studio. Before being Captain Rock he was Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde's live DJ from their period in the Harlem World Crew where he was known as DJ Ronnie Green. Creating his own crew known as "The Cosmic Crew" but The Cosmic Crew didn't exist longer than the time it took to make the record "Cosmic Blast". Since they all went on to lucrative careers of their own, and these were The Aleems, Dr Jeckyll & Mr Hyde, Scratch Al-D and Marley Marl. Captain Rock surely rocked the house with his live performance on UK Fresh 86 where he allegedly stripped down to his thong on stage. ...Of all the music in all the world you’ve just got to love rock/rock ‘n roll. I mean its got everything you need and its everywhere, it makes you feel good, its got power, and it can really help you to work out your anger. I love a lot of music, but there’s one band in particular I love almost as much as the Beatles and what’s more most people I know also like their music, the music of Queen. I only started to take an interest in the band after Freddie Mercury had died, not that I didn’t know about them before hand, I mean I knew some of their songs if I didn’t actually know that they were theirs. ...Fraggle Rock - Limited Edition DVD Set Weeeeee! Hands up who remembers these collection of weird little monsters who lived underneath a lighthouse?! #No, what are Fraggles? These are a colourful collection of hand controlled puppets from the fantastic Jim Henson. Based on the same ideas as the ever popular "Muppets", Fraggles are a basic hand inside a glove movement, and the puppets arms are controlled by sticks. Only the upper half of the bodies are shown on tv at a time. The puppeteers operate off screen and voice the characters in time to the live movement. They all live underneath the grounds of a lighthouse at the edge of a Scotland cliff, here's where the name comes from also - Fraggle (the inhabitants) Rock (the cliff top).
