Good characters and lots happening

Wont appeal to everyone, a bit long

.... The Runaway was a book I bought for him a while back and decided to read myself, hoping that as it's quite a while since I read one of her books it wouldn't seem as "samey" as others. The book starts in London in 1960 with children Cathy (7) and Eamonn (10) being brought up in a house full of problems. Eamonn's dad, Eamonn senior is dating Cathy's prostitute mother Madge and the two moved in with Cathy...

Addictive, Good conclusion

Sometimes Predictable and unbelievable

...V.C.Andrews is known for making a series of books. Usually four separate stories that eventually wind down a road and come together to make a fifth. The orphans' series was no exception. Four books titled Butterfly, Crystal, Brooke and Raven. Runaway brings it to a rocky, tooth rotting and predictable yet required conclusion. I would strongly recommend reading the four separate books before...
