Advantages: The most powerful Batman score ever composed; an Elfman classic all the way
Disadvantages: So what if it isn't the most sophisticated score in the world?

.... Although not perfect by any means, Batman is one of the best comics-turned-into-films ever and part of the success can be attributed to the score by Danny Elfman. By 1989, Danny Elfman was still relatively unknown to many. As the lead singer of the rock group Oingo Boingo, Elfman's transgression to scoring films came in the mid-1980's with Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. This film saw the beginning of the long-standing composer/director relationship of Elfman and Tim Burton, a relationship that would stretch for all the subsequent Burton films as well, apart from Ed Wood, which was composed by Howard Shore. Elfman's highest profile job after Pee-Wee came with 1988's Beetlejuice that was another zany Burton film starring Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton. Advantages: Designed So Younger Children Can Easily Score Baskets

...Product This is a great basketball set for younger children and can be adjusted to six different height's. The basket net is large making it easy for your child to get the ball in the net. The rim has also been designed to make it easier for younger children to score. The base is black and has a plug with stopper so you can put sand or water in to weight your basketball net down so it doesn't fall over. The adjustable arm is yellow and the net is white with a red trim, the backboard is white. The set comes with a small basket ball which looks like a smaller version of the real thing. The basketball is softer and safer, a real basketball could hurt a small child as they are very hard. The softer basketball is a great idea allowing smaller children to be able to play safely. ...The Score undoubtedly wins the unnecessary film award and deserves to be remembered only for bringing together the three best method actors of their generations, namely; Brando, De Niro and Norton. I call the film unnecessary, because why on earth do we need another crime/thriller movie with Brando or De Niro when we already have The Godfather, Casino and Goodfellas to name a few. The Score just covers old ground and doesn’t even do it that well anyway, with both stars doing similar roles in better movies. Edward Norton is the only actor with an argument for being in this film, and even he is already worthy of better things than shoddy heist movies. For Gods sake! the guy was in Fight Club and American History X, he doesn’t have to appear in this shameless showcase of talent. The Score is basically just a distant... Read review

Advantages: good cast, well shot, entertaining

...A glance at the poster for the score and you instantly have something sold to you without even knowing what the film is about. The names De Niro, Norton and Brando as well as Angela Bassett should be enough to at least peak your interest. Not only that but it's directed by Yoda/Fozzy Bear himself Frank Oz! Now these names along have already affected people's perceptions of the film. With a cast of great talent it seems that we should get one of the greatest films ever to grace the screen purely because of past acting performances. Well The Score isn't an amazing film but as entertainment it's certainly a cut above the rest. De Niro plays Nick, a seasoned professional thief whose speciality is cracking safes with precision and close detail. The best of the Relient K albums in my opinion, Five Score gives an explosive and energetic dose of our beloved Relient K, with addictive riffs, fabulous vocals and an overall truly uplifting sound, not that we should expect anything less. Those who know Relient K, I'm sure will be familiar with the ingenious way in which they ingrain take-home messages seamlessly into catchy songs. You will be pleased to know that there is no disappointment in this field in Five Score. "Forgiven" and "Must Have Done Something Right" display themselves as having come of the cleverest lyrics yet, so if Matt's crystal clear pronunciation still doesn't cut it, grab your lyrics booklet and give it a read! ...For those that love Rupert, Rannaldini, Tab, Jake, Taggie, and all the others...They're back! This is Jilly's best so far. I am an avid fan of Jilly Cooper, and unlike my friends, I am not ashamed to admit it!!! The problem with these books is that you are so desperate to find out what happens, that they end too fast!! Score! is a mix of music, horse racing, relationships and.....murder! THe suspense is carried all the way through, with things going drastically wrong at every turn, yet there still being room for romance, but remember, with Jilly Cooper, there's no such thing as a happy marriage. I am not going to tell you too much as this book will keep you guessing. One thing to say though is READ IT!... Read review

...The last of the series so far, Score, is a diversion from Jilly’s usual style, certainly when compared to the previous five books. This one mixes crime in with her usual sexual tension and partner swapping. The evil Sir Roberto Rannaldini has been killed on the set of Don Carlos and there are plenty of suspects, as you’d be hard pushed to find anyone who liked him. Many people had wished him dead but who would actually kill him? Could it be Tabitha Campbell Black? Rannaldini was her stepfather having married her mother Helen, ex wife of Rupert Campbell Black and widow of Malise Gordon. Tabitha had been influenced by Rannaldini to marry Isa Lovell, who was treating her very badly. She had married to spite her father who had a long running feud with Isa’s father Jake Lovell, as she felt he was taking more notice... Read review
