Review of Cadbury Snow Bites

The Scent of Snow? No!

Advantages: Pretty glass jar with snowflake print is seasonal and ideal for a decorated living room
Disadvantages: Smell not really what they claim, burns faster than suggested, after scent can be pungent

I have a terrible fear of fire and have sadly read of too many house fires caused by candles, but now and again I do like to have a scented candle burning and I like candles in particular at Christmas. I spied in Morrisons last week Glade scented candles on offer for £1.46, which seemed reasonable to me, so I picked up a ?Glistening Snow? candle to burn beside my Christmas tree in the evenings. The Candle What drew me towards this candle was, I will admit, the winter theme. Packaged in an attractive blue and white box, the candle sits inside a glass jar which has snowflakes printed upon it. A nice tale of snow and dogs!

Advantages: Fun family Disney film

...Snow Dogs is one of those cheesy Disney family movies that you can't help liking. It was released in 2002 and stars Cuba Gooding Jr, who had recently broken into the main casting scene on the big screen. ...I was just sorting through all the sweets things we had left from over christmas,when i come across three bags of snow bites. what are snow bites ? well for those who haven,t heard of them they are solid chocolate balls covered in a white dusted shell, they are made by cadburys and they are in the shops for the christmas season only as far as i know, i bought these in a local sweet shop who were selling them for 60p a bag or two bags for £1. IN THE FIELDS THE SNOW IS GLISTENING..........

Advantages: great fragrance, great quality and great price
Disadvantages: maybe too strong for some people

...theme going on there so the Glistening Snow with it's blue and white packaging caught my eye. I noticed from the way the box is cutaway it reveals the candle inside. It is presented in a rounded glass holder which is printed in an aqua blue with an overlay of white snowflakes. I thought this very festive and decided to try it. After the shopping was put away I decided to light the candle straight away. Taking it from the cardboard box I saw the wax candle is a deep blue green which exactly matches one of the tile colours in my kitchen. The instructions say to trim the wick to 5mm before lighting, however mine appeared to be about that anyway so didn't bother and went ahead and lit it, there was no obvious fragrance at the time of lighting so I wasn't expecting much of this product at first.
