Advantages: Action Packed, Funny, Exciting and Tense
Disadvantages: Werewolf's weren't 100%, but nothing really.

Advantages: Good entertainment, likeable cast, moves along at a terrific pace
Disadvantages: Not for the faint-hearted, predictable

...The last time I saw a movie at the cinema with soldiers in uniform, spraying bullets about was twenty-five years ago in Penrith on route to a holiday in Scotland. The film was ‘The Eagle has Landed’, and proved to be an interesting experience with the whole audience cheering the goodies and booing the baddies at every opportunity and generally participating to an extent I’d not seen since the Saturday morning flicks of the early sixties. ...I love Soldier Solder, I have all 7 series on video and am now converting them to DVD as they come out. So far, series 1, 2 and 3 have been released, with Series 4 being released in June 2005. Advantages: Unusual idea but well executed

...Don't expect to see anyone you know in this. It's a complete cast of no-namers and that's a good thing. When you have unknowns, you aren't sitting there thinking "Are the famous stars going to die?" Basically this a group of soldiers who escape from execution by the Germans and are trying to get back to the Allied lines. They overhear Germans talking about a downed Allied plane and manage to reach the airman first who tells them he is carrying vital intelligence that could prevent the Germans from overpowering an Allied position. So the film then becomes their journey to help him to the closest Allied Command post. We have Deacon, haunted by the memory of killing civilians. Sarge, from Chicago who holds them all together. ...I love this film to bits. Has to be one of my favourites ever. Maybe its because i'm Scottish and I love the army, or maybe its because I love the comical value added to this horror. Either way, a truly brilliant film that is definitely worth watching. Plot This film is about a section of soldiers out on a patrol in the damp and dark Scottish highlands when the find themselves in a war between themselves and several werewolves and after trusting a zoologist, are taken to a farm house where they are betrayed after discovering she too is a werewolf.
