On the Square

Advantages: Good location, good standard, clean and pleasant

...The Square is a mid priced hotel situated in the heart of Copenhagen, on Radhuspladsen and overlooking Tivoli Gardens. A short walk from the Central Station it is very handy for transfers from the airport and provides an excellent base for touring the city. Part of the ARP-Hansen Hotel Group it is one of several hotels in Copenhagen and like their other properties offers a good standard of accommodation geared towards the modern business or tourist traveller. Location ~ Despite the claims that the hotel overlooks Tivoli gardens this is somewhat misleading. Granted, from the top (6th) floor you can see the giant Tivoli sign but that's about it. Review of The Square, Copenhagen

Experience Shopping at Eldon Square!

Advantages: Good Shops
Disadvantages: Mainly highstreet stores

...When I was younger I used to go to Eldon Square in the school holidays with my grandma and we would meet my sister and my nephews in Newcastle and go shopping. Therefore, for me Eldon Square has some happy memories as well as some great shops :) Eldon Square is an indoor shopping centre located in the heart of Newcastle and as I am now studying in Newcastle I have been here quite often recently. Eldon Square first opened in 1976 and serves a catchment area of 2.7 million people. There are a number of entrances but I usually enter at the one on Northumberland Street. This leads straight to the shops. It is lovely walking into Eldon Square on a cold day, as it is really warm (so especially good at this time of year!) Choco squares, for me and the kids!

Advantages: Is even better with milk.
Disadvantages: Not the healthiest cereal out there.

...As any one who is familiar with my reviews will know, my children love cereals, the sweeter the better! So when faced with the product I will now review, they just had to try it! The product I will now review is "Asda choc squares". The packaging is bright and vibrant, the box is purple in colour with a large oval patch of yellow in the centre. On top of the yellow is the brand and product name in the same purple as the rest of the box, very effective! For some strange reason there is a picture of a "mad dog" peering over the lettering?! Around the lettering there are pieces of the cereal flying about, some of which are broken in two so as to show of the chocolate centre. Advantages: a memorial to brave soldiers who died during the world war 2
Disadvantages: it's only so much fun you can have looking at memorials

Advantages: Dreamy album, very calming and warming

...and wanted to hear more, so I went out and bought both that album and Square 1. The lyrics are simple, but catchy and it could be said that some of the songs could be similar to Van Morrison, Rufus Wainwright, Nick Drake or David Gray I won?t go into all of the songs, as I would just end up repeating myself and running out of things to say, however I will write about some of the ones that stand out for me. 1. Blue Square Hotel- Apparently near, yet so far.

Advantages: Lovely bedrooms, large shower, bar staff friendly, luggage room to leave bags.
Disadvantages: Too far from city centre, transport costs to hotel very dear, area undesirable.

...My partner and I recently visited Amsterdam (in late May for 4 nights) and as I was so busy with work, left it up to him to book the hotel and take care of the details. We have been to Amsterdam before and the hotels we usually stay at had no vacancies, so he booked us into the Blue Square Hotel, and proudly showed me the documents he had printed off and the website. "Looks lovely, oh it says it's close to the town centre- within walking distance- can't wait!" was my reaction. Out of the airport we trundled a few weeks later with our cases and got into a waiting taxi. He drove us to the hotel. It took a LONG time. As he was unloading our cases with us he said "This is not a good area for you." I asked him what he meant by that. "Is not a good area and is too far to walk to town, you will have to use trams. Come and see Fred and Elsie at Orchard Square

Advantages: Lovely clock as its centrepice
Disadvantages: Only a small number of shops

...Looking at Orchard Square today its hard to imagine that this was once Sheffield's flagship shopping centre. That's not to say that there is anything wrong with this place its just that more than two decades on it now looks pretty much like hundreds of other generic indoor shopping centres and if one arrived blindfold it would be difficult to determine immediately in which city, in which part of the world one was. That is unless you just happened to be stood in the open air courtyard under its clock tower. So having described Orchard Square as nondescript I now retract this statement a little by adding that it has the most amazing clock tower as it focal point. Mornflake Chocolatey Squares - A delicious treat for all ages!

Advantages: Crunchy, Chocolately, Soaks up Milk without going soggy
Disadvantages: Not enough portions in a box, Can be hard to find

...When I first tried Mornflake Chocolatey Squares, I was instantly Hooked ! I generally like most cereals, and love chocolate, but find many chocolate cereals to be too light, and all the chocolate comes off in the milk. Chocolatey squares are a step ahead of their chocolatey rivals, encasing the delicious chocolate inside a substantial nugget of crunchy cereal, which stays solid until the last bite. This is probably my favorite bit - I dislike many cereals when too soggy, and often rush my breakfast trying to avoid the soggy bits at the bottom of the bowl. I often leave my Chocolatey Squares for a while to soak up the milk, as they seem to get tastier as you get to the bottom of the bowl.
