...I think by now from my reviews most people can pick up that I do love my perfume and it is one of my favourite things to review. When I got my loan in though I had to treat myself even though this is not what my student loan is for. I love getting perfumes but I do find them expensive which is why I don't get them often but it is coming up to Christmas so I thought I'd recommend my latest purchase because you never know it might end up on some other people's Christmas lists. So I actually found out about Kylie Minogue's 'Sweet Darling' from a sample which I received. I had been in my local Boots smelling all of the latest celebrity perfumes such as Christina Aguilera's and so on but the Kylie one was really nice and made me keep sniffing where I had sprayed all day. ...I was first introduced to sweet potatoes when my eldest child, now 7, was a baby. A lot of the information I received on baby weaning recommended sweet potatoes as an ideal weaning food, and this was how I first used it. I am no great cook, but I can prepare basic family meals, neither can I afford to spend too much money nor waste it on foods that my children will not eat. I used sweet potato as a weaning food, firstly it was on its own and then over time I added other vegetables. I cook my sweet potato in the microwave, they are very easy to prepare. A quick wash and then peel, I then cut them into chunks and place in a microwaveable dish and microwave until soft, usually about 7-8 minutes, depending on how many I am doing at a time. When they are cooled I just puree them down with a hand blender and feed to my baby when needed...

Smell sweet as candy!

...I have never really been into the whole celebrity perfume line but I decided I needed a new perfume for Christmas so went sniffing at my local Boots! After sniffing a lot of perfumes I opted for this one even though it was a celebrity line- I figured something like that should not put me off what is a lovely if at times a bit of a sickly fragrance. This I would put in the "foodie" line of fragrances in that both hubby and I reckon it smells like cotton candy! That's a pretty good indication of how sweet it is! But if you prefer light fragrances to the strong florals then it may be one to consider! I got mine from Boots in a gift set which came to about £21 and included a lovely shimmer body lotion of the same fragrance. ...A Sweet Pea is a highly scented annual and has to be one my my all time favourite flowers. Although you can buy the seed and raise your own plants in the greenhouse, which I did last year, most of us prefer to buy the plants from our local garden centre. The Sweet pea starts life as a small thin straggly plant, it may look very puny but in reality it is an exceptionally resilient little plant. Sweetpeas love being planted where they will be in the sun and last year during March I planted mine at the bottom of the garden along the bottom of the fence.
