Htc TyTN II
Review of HTC TyTN II by
anurag440044
Advantages: Faster, incorparated gps
Disadvantages: size a little bulky
...HTC TyTnII is a value for money phone. It has a special function of the qwerty keyboard, which slides underside of the phone. Allthough its a little bulky, it provides with quite good features. The HTC home plugin has been incorporated in the phone on the today screen. The phone has a special function of 3g, Video conferencing, which is absent in the TyTn. The qwerty keyboard provides easiness in typing word documents and notes. The email in this phone has been at par to the blackberrys. The Incorporated GPS in this phone is pretty accurate. The GPS can also be used on Livemaps. The Traffic Tv on this phone, lets user view realtime traffic flow in specific areas. The newly incorparated OS6 in this phone is pretty faster than regular WM6 os on any other wm powered device....

T-Mobile MDA Vario II
Review of T-Mobile MDA Vario II by
voodoo_melon
Advantages: Nice size/weight, bright screen, very connctable
Disadvantages: Short, light stylus
...I've had my Vario II (also known as HTC Hermes, HTC TyTn, Orange SPV M3100 among others) a couple of weeks now and am very pleased with it. It's currently running Windows Mobile 5 (which it comes with as standard), which handles all tasks fine. The screen is nice and bright and very easy to read, despite being smaller than a normal PDA. It's a nice size and makes my old Acer n10 seem big and bulky. Loads of connection options - IrDA, bluetooth, wifi, usb2, GPRS/3G mean you've got loads of was of using it. Being on T-Mobile it also comes with MSN Messenger (other networks remove it but you can get it back with an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6) which along with email, texts and mms mean it's easy to keep in contact.
It runs Tomtom 6 nicely (although it needs a small patch available on the net) and gives you a Transflash/MicroSD slot...

Ageless Empires Part II
Review of Age of Empires II (PC) by
gabrielangeles
Advantages: Better graphics, better game play
Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...After taking the time out last night to write about AOE ( Age Of Empires the original game ) I have decided to carry on and also write about AOE II Age Of Kings. However as I sit here at my PC at the beginning of this op I do have a feeling that this will not be an easy op to write. As this game is so similar to its predecessor I have to try to write this without excessive repetition of my last op. Well you know me I like a challenge !!
So coffee at hand and a freshly rolled smoke hanging from the corner of my mouth I shall continue !!
Age Of Empires II Age Of Kings is a RTS ( Real Time Strategy ) game but is also, and more importantly is a RM ( Resource Management ) game. Now I know I explained the specifics of the game play in my last op as these two game elements were both covered. However I want to stress that as opposed...

That little extra
Review of HTC TyTN - Windows Mobile 5.0 400 MHz - RAM: 64 MB - ROM: 128 MB 2.8" TFT ( 240 x 320 ) - camera - IrDA, Bluetooth, 802.11b, 802.11g - GSM 850/900/1800/1900 / UMTS 850/1900/2100 by
falla
Advantages: Built in keyboard, intuitive quick-launch buttons, easy to navigate, WIFI, Bluetooth, 3G
Disadvantages: sometimes slows down, quite bulky
...The HTC TyTn is the mobile solution for those who require a little bit more from their phone.
TyTN comes equipped with windows mobile 5.0 including services like word, exel and even power point, but the service that perhaps comes as most convenient is the Outlook service that can easily be linked up to your email account to ensure that you will always be connected.
You will never loose track of your appointments either because the planner is always visible on the starter screen, with your next appointment highlighted in brief, and you can add many details and notes on the different appointments, all easily viewable through a couple of clicks on the screen.
One of the best parts of the phone is its built in keyboard, with practically the same setup as a regular computer keyboard, with the exception of having to press a button...

Magic part II
Review of Shenmue II by
paulgusta
Advantages: Graphics, Storyline, a continuation of the greatest game on the DC
Disadvantages: Quirky fade in/out of NPC
.... Was it worth the $110 we each paid? Scroll down.
Shenmue II is set in Hong Kong, and is a true sequel. Yu Suzuki (genius) had the story mapped out, so Shenmue II isn't a cash in, it was planned this way (like Lord of the Rings and the Matrix are, and how Jurassic Park isn't). We follow Ryo Hazuki on his quest in to find the man who murdered his father.
Quite brilliantly, if you finished the original Shenmue and saved the end file, you can use that to continue in Shenmue II. Nearly all of your items remain, so does the date and so does your money.
The amount of improvement over Shenmue is large, and adds to the whole atmosphere. Graphics have been improved, but the fade in/out of some characters is still a bit much, and there is some slowdown. But that's to be expected, as this game is huge. Enormous. Excessive, almost. At a guess, Shenmue...

Diablo II Expansion Set: The Lord Of Destruction
Review of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction (PC) by
jeaniecz
Advantages: new characters, items and Act
Disadvantages: it's still not Diablo III :p
...A datadisc to Diablo II, it requires a full version of Diablo II to play.
It's pretty much to same game, same style, but by bringing one new Act, 2 new characters and uncountable new items it manages to more than double the play time.
WHAT'S NEW
Characters
If you wish to update your Diablo II installing the Expansion set and play further with your Diablo II characters, you have to transform them into Expansion characters first, which only means you won't be able to play them in "bare" Diablo II, but always only with the datadisc installed, so it might be smart to save copies of the character files if maybe you would wanna uninstal the Expansion and return to your old Diablo II. In multiplayer all the characters have to be either Expansion or not, you can't mix them up.
New characters:
Assasin...

Diablo II
Review of Diablo II (PC) by
yomukechmiye
Advantages: The hack + slash and the online gaming
Disadvantages: single player
...Diablo II is a RPG (Role Playing Game) game based on the original 3D game of Diablo and was released by Blizzard over a year ago. Having already been delayed twice (it was meant to be released in 1998), a lot of Diablo fans had anxiously waited for.
The game begins with you (the player) selecting 1 of 5 characters - the amazon, necromancer, sorcerer, barbarian and paladin. This is one of the great things about Diablo II compared to its counterpart because you upgrade your character through stat points (different for each character) and their skill points which uniquely differs for each character and even the very same character since there are different paths to take.
Onto the gameplay
The gameplay involves hack and slashing and possibly a little microing at times (microing is the ability to control your character e.g. running...

Selmer Serie II Tenor Sax
Review of Selmer 54 Paris model Bb series II Tenor Saxophone by
poooookie
Advantages: Nice Dark tone, good intonation, and smooth engraving
Disadvantages: This horn is quite expensive and the positioning of the palm keys doesn't quite suit my hands - the price is the only real disadvantage though!
...This is a good, high quality instrument from selmer, and is reckoned to be among the best professional tenor saxophones in the world. I own a serie II alto sax, however the serie II tenor seemed fairly different to the alto to me, and I play a selmer reference 36 tenor.
The Serie II has a lovely tone, which is very resonant, making the whole horn vibrate, creating a dark rich tone. The intonation on this horn is also fairly good, but I didn't find the intonation quite as good as on the Serie III.
I like the design of the Serie II, and it feels comfortable to play, except for the right hand palm keys, which for some reason, to me, feel like they are in the wrong position, and they seem quite a stretch to reach. Other than this though, the keys are responsive, and work well, as on the Serie II Alto. I find the little finger keys...
