Reviews of the umbrella
You'll need an umbrella for the bloody rain.
Review of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (Wii) by
BTlover
Advantages: Long game, pretty sweet light-gun mechanics.
Disadvantages: The bizarre inclusion of movie info, but the reducing of characters. O_O
...ust like the zombies in the games themselves, Capcom has resurrected its gun survivor franchise and has unleashed Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles on unsuspecting Wii owners. The last gun survivor game here in the US came out in 2003 (RE: Dead Aim) and was actually a pretty decent offing. Umbrella Chronicles turns Resident Evil 0, REmake (the Gamecube version of Resident Evil 1), and RE3 into light gun games, and throws in an all-new location to boot. This is one nostalgic trip down blood soaked memory lane for Resident Evil fans. But people just looking for a good time will find it here as well.
RE: UC takes players on a nostalgic filled trip through RE0, the Remake, and RE3 in light gun shooting form, and it's all narrated by captain bad-ass himself, Albert Wesker! Relive the train of death with Billy and Rebecca; walk...

No rain for this Umbrella
Review of Schefflera actinophylla (Umbrella tree) by
paisleyman
Advantages: Huge Plant-Catches the eye
Disadvantages: Can Grow too tall
...was the Umbrella tree. It really does make you think of an umbrella actually as the rosettes of leaves stick out from the centre stalk just like an umbrella.
The Schefflera actinophylla comes from the South Pacific rim,
very common in Australia and is known as Queensland Umbrella, although they can be found anywhere from Australia round the Pacific to South America.
In their home surroundings the Schefflera can grow to 16feet. and really is a tree!. As a potted houseplant kept in the right conditions and nurtured carefully they can grow to 8feet. (Some houseplant).
The Schefflera is a relatively easy plant to keep. They are very good plants if you are the sort of person who is not very good at looking after your indoor plants.
They can withstand most indoor conditions though they are not too happy in a very dry atmosphere...

"Feast On This!"
Review of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (Wii) by
daftks
Advantages: Nostalgic Scenery, Classic Arcade Fun
Disadvantages: Weird array of scenarios can get quite confusing
...I first of all, apologise for my long absence from writing reviews, work has been keeping very busy lately so I even barely have time to try out the games to let everyone know how every nook and cranny is like for a game. But let's start with this one and hopefully I'll have more time in the future for more game reviews.
Setting the scene...

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, is better known in Japan as Biohazard: The Umbrella Chronicles (バイオハザード アンブレラ・クロニ 2463;ルズ Baiohazādo Anburera Kuronikuruzu?), for those hardcore gamers / Japan lovers ^^. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles (RE:TUC) is an on-rails shooting game and the seventh main installment of Capcom...

Umbrella might Drive you to Rehab
Review of Good Girl Gone Bad - Rihanna by
nathaninnit
Advantages: Shows a lot of potential
Disadvantages: I'm sure she's more interesting than this album
....
Discovered at the age of 15, it was Jay-Z who signed her to his label, 'Def Jam Records', and due to Rihanna immense popularity over the years she now finds herself singing alongside her boss on her latest track, 'Umbrella'. Rihanna has much appeal for her raunchy look, and along with this new album she pushed the barrier by dancing around with umbrellas and painting herself silver for the video shoot. The cover for 'Good Girl Gone Bad' features Rihanna slanting diagonally across the album in a more classy black and white look as opposed to the close-ups of her face that have been the main feature of the previous two albums. How does this Barbados born beauty live up to her reputation? Keep reading to find out.
UMBRELLA - "When the sun shines we shine together."
Track One - 4mins 18secs
Rihanna made a good choice making this her first...

Umbrellas in the Mist
Review of Personification Poems by
Snorelax63
Advantages: Gives inanimate objects a personality
Disadvantages: Some people take it too seriously
...Sitting a maths exam back in January this year and totally blanked as usual. Was going to be sat in that room for 3 hours so had to do something. Got to thinking about a program I saw as a youngster called "Gorillas in the Mist" and imagined David Attenborough doing a similar program about Umbrellas.
Here's the poem I wrote while successfully failing yet another maths exam.
------------------------
UMBRELLAS IN THE MIST
It seems their only function
Is to keep their human dry
And Naturalists for many years
Have asked the question
Why?
They come in many colours, and sleep, stood in a rack.
Emerge only when it's raining
Rain stops… they all go back.
A sacrificial act it seems
Of this we have no doubt
For when the weather's sunny
Umbrellas won't come out.
Now the brightly coloured Parasol
To Umbrella is a kin...

Umbrella Made the Mistake again....
Review of Resident Evil 2 (PSX) by
Hellzone
Advantages: Great graphics, gameplay, Sound effects, lighting, Story line, Great everything
Disadvantages: None except it can be a bit tedious running back and forth
...This follows on in the great glory, which was Resident Evil and Resident Evil Directors cut.
Resident evil 2 is basically the story of a City named "Racoon City" which gets infected by the G-Virus, which was produced by the same people who made the T-virus in Resident Evil 1, Umbrella. Both the G and T virus were designed to create differential humans and animals, basically making everything it infected eventually into a superior self or a zombie of some kind.
In the first resident evil, Claire and the other S.T.A.R.S members were stuck in Umbrellas corporate mansion where the initial testing had began, unfortunally there was an outbreak of the T-virus and almost the whole mansion was infected.
In Resident Evil 2 Umbrella had continued research on the virus (for some strange reason? Have they no humanity?) and produced the G...

Zombie!!
Review of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (Wii) by
LegalEagle247
Advantages: Action packed, challenging, good range of weapons, more innovative than most 1st person shooting titles
Disadvantages: Sometimes too difficult even on the easy modes, storyline dominated by previous games
...-Please note that the following review may contain spoilers-
Umbrella chronicles in an 'on rails' shooting game which means that your characters will follow a set route and your job is to kill anything that gets in the way. Most of the enemies are creatures that have been featured in previous resident evil games, so if you are familiar with the series, you can expect to enjoy a degree of nostalgia.
To complete this task, you have access to a range of weapons which can be switched at any time. A simple pistol for which you have infinite ammo, and the more powerful weapons such as shotguns, machine guns, grenade launchers, and magnums which have limited ammunition.
The game consists of a series of 20-minute levels, most of which are compatible for two players. The levels packed full of action, as well as the all important 'shock...
