...The Creative Zen Vision:M is an MP3 player by Creative. It was released in August 2006. It is available in 30GB or 60GB options and is available in a range of colours: Black, white, pink, blue and green. I chose the white because I think it looks the best and all the rest of the cabling etc and back of the vision:m itself is white so thought it was worth paying £4 extra to get it in white. I also chose the smaller 30GB option as I don't believe I would be able to fill the larger one, though I might be proved wrong but is a lot more expensive anyway. ...The Visioneer One Touch 8700 USB is the latest addition to our studio. Now as usual, it had to pass through a number of criteria put forward by the boss! So what were the critieria? He was after a cheap scanner (under £100) for use with the receptionists PC and simply for scanning in pictures for our new website. So we didn't buy this for use in the design department, in which case we would have opted for something much more expensive and more capable. ------------------ AVAILABILITY ------------------ We purchased this scanner from PC World, which in my opinion is THE place for computer equipment, if it isn't here you won't find it anywhere! My partner had had his eyes tested locally and we decided to check out VisionQuick as he knew exactly what he was looking for, flexible frames with no particular designer label. How to use the service. The website is attractive and very easy to navigate. They claim to be one of only a few on-line retailers that is actually backed and owned by qualified and practicing opticians. To use VisionQuick you simply need to send your prescription from your own optician. This must be up to date, under two years old. ...BT Vision is a fantastic concept and supposedly the future of TV. With the Digital changeover we're all going to have to have Digital TV of some sort so BT Vision seemed the perfect product for me since I already have my telephone and internet with BT. BT Vision is essentially a freeview box with an 80GB hard drive and a recording feature which allows you to watch one programme and record another or record two programmes at the same time. You can also pause live TV, record at the touch of a button and record a whole series simply by selecting the programme from the programme guide and then pressing record twice. The beauty of BT Vision is the On Demand service where you can choose films, sport, music videos, comedies, pretty much anything and watch it whenever you want.
