Bon Voyage!

Advantages: Sharply written, surprisingly insightful, unsurprisingly FUNNY!
Disadvantages: The girl on the front cover actually looks like she's in some danger...

Advantages: friendly people, rooms, pools, public areas very well looked after, different themes everyday
Disadvantages: food variation... but what was out was tasty!

...Ahoy...and welcome aboard the good ship Voyager is how we were greeted to our accomodation in Kenya. As you have proabably already read or guessed this whole complex is based on a cruise ship which can be great fun from the raising of the flag in the gardens, to the cabins (or rooms) decor, to the lunch horn making all the newbies jump of the sunbed its so loud, to the docking in a different country everyday. The Voyager is majority all inclusive for the Brits, so all meals and local drinks inc. Drinks were ok, the wine tasted better in the restaurant than at the bars, Allsopps is the beer to go for my husband said which is in a bottle, hes wasnt so keen on the draught Tusker. A Christmas voyage!

Advantages: interesting, great cast, hilareous extra

BT voyager 210 broadband modem

Advantages: Easy to install
Disadvantages: Beware: Won't last much longer than 12 months

...I got this BT voyager 210 router from MADASAFISH when I subscribed to their broadband service back in 2006 as a 'free' router (you have paid them back + admin charges if you switch or unsubscribe before the 12 months contract is due). It comes as shown in the picture in the box, quite generours: one wired router, TWO ADSL microfilters, one AC adaptor, one ADSL telco cable, 1 USB cable, 1 Ethernet cable, one CD-ROM (with installation guide, user manual, driver and utilties), one small piece of quick installation guide. This modem supports ADSL2 as well however I haven't got ADSL2 i.e. not tested. The basic installation is quite easy: connection the modem to the phone socket according to instructions. Advantages: Size, Comfort, Practicality, Versatile
Disadvantages: 2ltr engine is ridiculously under powered

...I had the 7 seater, 2ltr Voyager and regret selling it when I did. Interior: Build quality is excellent. Very spacious. The quality of the leather is good for a US car. My kids loved having their own seat and space (less fighting!!) Be warned, if you want to remove seats from the car get some help. I could not believe how heavy they were - be careful. Get all the seats out and you've got a van and can lug an amazing amount of stuff around. Having sliding rear doors on both sides is useful - the Toyota didn't have and was a pain. Instruments and controls were once you got used to them clear and nice to use as a result of the quality of build. Exterior: Looks good. The two rear sliding doors are much better than conventional opening doors like on the Ford. Roof bars are strong and useful but a pig to move - it will take...

An Oceanic Voyage

Advantages: Well written; Dry humour

The dead boyfriend is supposed to be explained here, but somehow he never is, and so when Audley goes out into the world connected up as Oceane's eyes and ears, it isn't really clear what she is looking for, or realistically expecting to find. What I did enjoy here was that Fischer doesn't spell out what's happening, but you get to slowly realise what's going on in your own sweet time. All said, sometimes it doesn't matter that the plot of a book doesn't make much sense. Fischer offers us fistfuls of witty, wry observations, and those are worth the read in themselves. There are nuggets of philosophy lurking in there too if you look carefully (almost akin to my beloved Kundera). I'm loathe to say it's her voyage of self discovery, but ultimately I...
