I imagined staying in a nice hotel in the middle of Manhattan but the hotels were very expensive ($100 a night each in some cases!) You can imagine our complete horror, shortly followed by moans of “I’ll never get to go!” from me. But I was determined to go, so I needed to find a bargain. Advantages: Too many to mention

...current job restricts annual leave breaks to two-weeks at a time or (with special dispensation) three. Extra-special dispensation will be given for longer “trip of a lifetime” jaunts if a case can be made, including sensible suggestions for covering your absence. My length of service does entitle me to a six month, unpaid, sabbatical. Sadly my finances do not. The “deal” at home is simply that I am to be home more than I am away, which gives me as much freedom as I need…because one of the joys of travelling is the coming home. I do not think that I could “settle” into a totally wandering existence. In the ideal world, when I win the £17million, there is one very specific very long journey that I would like to embark upon. Advantages: great graphics, sound and gameply, totally original idea

.... there are boss fights e. you're doing it all to save the life of a beautiful young woman The biggest differences between Shadow and other role playing games are; a. you don't get random fights while riding around b. you can access the entire world right from the start of the game c. there isn't a storyline as such THERE ISN'T A STORYLINE? Not really. At the start of the game, Wander arrives in a castle, with a seemingly dead girl (Mono). You lay her on an altar. A disembodied voice tells you that if you want to save her, then you must kill the colossi that roam the land. That's it. There's hardly any dialogue, and any dialogue you hear is spoken in an unreal language, based on Latinised Japanese. ...Wandering in Pescara to tell you what I discovered … Last year, when I came in Pescara I did this choice only because my ex boss invited me to spend my holidays using the office. She did it because she knew very well my economical situation… this actually was a sort of a gift, without this possibily I would have spent my holidays at home. In any case, Pescara wasn’t a choice due to the place itself, or to any sort of interest in this particular place. Last year I discovered that Pescara isn’t a seaside resort, but a town that lies on the sea. The difference is huge. In Pescara people aren’t prepared in receiving tourists and the majority of them aren’t friendly, expecially with Italian tourists, expecially if you are alone. There are a lot of restaurants that simply refuse to serve a single, and also in hotel’s cafeterias... Read review

...Saw this DVD on eBay and I just had to have it, The Wanderers had a big impact on myself and my friends during are teen years, Bored with the prancing about of John Travoltas Saturday Night Fever, something more had to come from a teen flick to get us motivated, and this was it. High School kids in America's Bronx driven by race, creed and colour had separated themselves into gangs, not always for violence, more through a sense of belonging and being part of a familiar culture in an uncultured environment. One of the main gangs is the Wanderer's (American Italians) romancers, cool looks, greased back hair, leather jackets and tight jeans, fun to be part of and always up for a laugh. ...Protea is a chain of hotels in southern Africa, mostly in South Africa but stretching up as far as Kenya on the east coast and Namibia on the west. They also have hotels in Egypt and Nigeria. This review is of the Protea Wanderers hotel, one of the twelve Protea hotels in and around Johannesburg, South Africa. I've stayed there six times, between June 2003 and January 2004. ARRIVAL The hotel is located about 25 minutes drive from the airport. They do offer an airport pick up service, which you must pre-arrange; they will then add 150 Rand to your bill. There is a security check post at the gate, a sad necessity in the Johannesburg of today. The drive leads past the Wanderers sports club on the right, then turns left to the hotel and ends in a circular cobbled area in front of the hotel with a burst water pipe in the middle... Read review
