...A couple of weeks ago I popped in to The Body Shop in Bath, as I needed a new hairbrush. The thing is whenever I go in I never come out just with what I intended to buy. I had been considering buying either the Shimmer Cube or the Shimmer Waves but had not decided so had a look and still couldn't make up my mind so I was going to leave it but I just couldn't! One of the shop assistants asked me if I needed any help and I explained my predicament. She said they were both really easy to use and were great colours and the looks they could achieve were brilliant and that she had bought both in the end! I was determined not to do that! Advantages: Great idea, very playable, excellent courses, nice wave effects.
Disadvantages: Sound isn't great but it is quite an old game, small selection of racers.

...Most people can't afford a jet ski, and if they can they're probably rich and don't use it let alone race it. But I can tell you if the real thing is half as much fun as Wave Race 64 we would all be out on the nearest lake, river, puddle, getting our racing fix. Wave Race 64 was the one of the first games I purchased on the N64 and one of the best. The graphics, sound and gameplay were all much better than anything I had seen before and a lot of things you will see today. The way the waves actually rise and fall lapping against the beach and anything else in the water were just some of the details you notice as soon as you switch the cartridge on. In my opinion Wave 105 is the best local radio station that the South Coast has to offer. The choice of music ranges from current chart music to 70's music with the Glitz Mix shows. Now maybe its just my hair but if I was to wind it up and let it dry even without the help of a styling product it would have a loose wave to it.
