Whites Hotel Wexford

Advantages: location
Disadvantages: price

...A good hotel based in the centre of wexford. It is close to the sea front about 5 mins walk, close to the theatre and it has nights of entertainment at the hotel too. The rooms are of a standard and it was clean when i visited it there, the hotel is close to public transport in the town. The hotel has a good bar and restaurant, although the menus may not be to everyones taste but there are plenty of restaurants in the town that provide choice. The rooms are ensuite and the hotel can be classed as family friendly but i did not see any families there at the time. the hotel has a cyrotheraphy centre where you can freeze in an ice chamber - supposed to help recover from injuries etc. The welsh rugby team have used the chambers as part of the recent pre season training. Disadvantages: Not central - other than for the football

...I have stayed at this hotel on three occasions, mainly through attending work related conferences at the attached Bolton Wanderers Football Club. To look at from the outside it is a tad strange, a football stadium with a hotel built into one side - please don't be put off, if you are not a Bolton fan, as soon as you enter the hotel lobby you can forget all about the beautiful game. If you are there for the football, there is absolutely no better location! The lobby is an impressive affair with large reception desk, the staff at which I have always found efficient, and a beautiful imposing sweeping staircase. Once checked in, it is up to the rooms, but on the way please check out those great carpets that flow effortlessly and seemingly join free around the communal areas and down the corridors. ...My partner and i were recently in london for the weekend so i looked up expedia to see which hotels we could stay in and i decided on the melia white house as i thought it looked nice and was in a medium price range. The hotel is conveniently located as it is only about 3-5 minutes walk from the great portland street tube station which means that it is easy to get to other parts of london from the hotel. Also it is not far from regents park and london zoo is a 30 minute walk. We also walked to the camden market as it was only about 10-15 minutes walk from london zoo. We also found that the hotel was easy to get to from heathrow airport as you can take the tube and you 0only have to make one change of tube line. ...I am writing his review from my White Hart hotel room and in my opinion this is quite an above average hotel. I arrived here with my family (Mum and Dad) yesterday. It was pretty easy to find and get here from Leeds where we spent the day out, just off the A15, but in the next 2 hours when we check out we will be taking the A46 to return home (Reading). The hotel provides their own parking just round the side of the hotel, with a small bay which cars strictly shouldn't stay in at all, but seems to be used by taxis to drop people off. Upon arrival we were greeted by very pleasant reception staff who knew a lot about the local area. Asking about local restaurants they informed us about the various Italian, Mexican, Thai, Chinese, English Pubs and all about the restaurant they have which was very helpful. ...The white hart hotel is situated opposite Kingston bridge on the Hampton wick side of the river. The hotel opened in 2001 and is said to be 'the most attractive hotel in the Kinston area,' although it was only rated three stars by the English regional tourist board. From what I made of the hotel when I stayed there I would rate it at four stars. The rooms are furnished in an old style but to a high standard, there is a lovely secluded courtyard area at the rear of the hotel and there is free parking for guests. The car park is also situated at the rear of the hotel and is barrier operated, so you're car is relatively safe.
