It's Monday morning and I have been on the drink most of the weekend, it's a friends fault as it was their birthday, I normally don't touch alcohol as I am usually tea total. But keep the noise down as I am just phoning my work. "Hello I am feeling really bad; I think I have caught that virus that Tom had the other week". I say it in my weakest voice and give a cough always make a point to name someone just like I named Tom, that makes him partly to blame. Then it's back to bed with a good book and enjoy the day off. Another of my favourites is what I call the phone call from home. You arrive into work but you have one of your family primed to phone you at a certain time. ...was silly enough to try to play it with my 25 year old son. Unfortunately he fell on me and I.......................(Let your imagination run wild here).....you can have done various awful and hopefully not too long lasting injuries to yourself. Depends on how long you want off work. DISADVANTAGE You have to remember which part of your anatomy you injured and act accordingly. It's no good limping if you have said that you strained your arm. I'm waiting for a plumber........ One of my pipes is leaking............I can't turn off the water cos the stop tap has siezed up...........I have to keep emptying bowls or I'll have an awful flood............I'm sure you wouldn't want that to happen to me would you. ...I frequently read articles that address the issue of working mothers vs stay-at-home mothers. However, in order to keep pace with current trends, this topic ought really to be re-titled, “Parents who work outside the home vs Stay-at-home parents vs Telecommuting parents”. And why shouldn’t we bring fathers into the equation? After all, it is becoming increasingly popular for fathers to stay at home and raise the children whilst the mother becomes the breadwinner, or for fathers to gain custody of the children and therefore find themselves in the situation that many single mothers have been in for decades. This is an enormous topic and I could write a book on the various points and scenarios that that this subject throws out. It is not clear-cut, since every mother is different, every child is different... Read review

It sells mainly remaindered books which are basically the publishers stock which they have not sold to bookshops at the full price. The works is one of those shops that are always worth a quick visit to see what’s on offer if you are passing. Many people think that it is just another ‘cheap’ shop but if you have a good look you can usually find some quality bargains intermingled with the cheap stuff. But they also sell current books at very reduced prices. These books may be very slightly substandard or damaged in some way so they cannot be sold at full price. ...No this isn't going to be about Mars Bars (remember their old ad line?!) It's a bit ironic me choosing to write about this topic at the moment actually given that I have been unable to work for about two and half years now due to illness/disability but prior to that I had worked full time all my adult life so far so I think that gives me some perspective on both sides. I think it is well known and charted that generally in the UK we work the longest hours within Europe together with fewer holidays and less public/National holidays too. There is also apparently a high record of sick absence due to work related stress and industrial accidents. In general and in most cases, we learned it through our employment or in school as part of our daily work. Purchasing a set of personal computer (PC) or a laptop/notebook, this office software like Microsoft Office (MS Office) or Works Suite is already installed in the unit. However, due to piracy law enforcement, the computer stores installed it in a ‘trial use’ basis or else you have to buy the software separately! ...Microsoft works is a programme which came with my laptop and i'm pretty sure it does come with other laptops or PCs aswell. It basically comes as a disk and you have to install it your self. There are two options either complete installation or basic installation. Complete installation, installs everything on the disk onto the Laptop and it takes quite a while to install everything including clip art and other templates. Basic installation only installs needed tools from the disk which enables Microsoft works to work. However, the advantage of Basic installation is that it’s fast to install and does not use a lot of disk space for laptops like EI system 3001 or EI sytem 3089 which has limited memory. If you install the whole software you are risking your laptop to run slowly as you might have to install other soft wares... Read review
