...Theme Park World Well where do you start with a game like this. It's totally wicked. I've loved this game for so long I used to be totally addicted to it. I just used to love making money on games like this it become a total addiction. There have been so many versions of this game that has been created for the different platforms. I have two different versions for my PS1 this version for my PS2 and I also have another version that works on my pc. I just become so embraced in this game I found it quite incredible. ...Theme Park World is the 2nd theme park sim , the first being theme park . In theme park world you will have a choice of a park depending on how many gold tickets you have earned . Each park will have a certain theme , the available themes are wonderland , halloween and prehistoric (lots of dinosaurs etc.) . The aim of the game is to build the most thriving theme park ever in existence . The rides range from Jungle Coasters to Terrodactyl flights to a spinning teacup . ...In August of this year my husband and our 2 kids, my son aged 14 and my daughter aged 9 went to Salou for our summer holidays. Salou is very big and noisy with plenty to do, not for someone looking for a quiet holiday. We had a wonderful holiday but the definite hightlight was PortAventura Theme Park. It way exceeded my expectations. I never thought a theme park could be so much fun. Before we went over to Spain we were advised to purchase our theme park tickets here as that it the cheaper way to do it and there are always special deals on the tickets here. We managed to get 4 7 day tickets for the price of 3. We were so glad we did this as the tickets were so much dearer over there and you also had to queue to buy the tickets whereas we were able to straight into the park without queueing. ...I bought Theme Park World because I enjoyed Theme Park so much and I thought it would be an excellent sequel to the original game - these promises slowly faded away. Theme Park World is in no way better than Theme Park. The little people in your park don't walk properly. Have you noticed that - they seem to jump about. The game is reallllllly slow! Theme park is much better as people walk like realpeople and it is sooooo much faster. I bought Theme Park World and returned it the next day or so because I was not at all satisfied. I would not recommend Theme Park World to anyone but I would recommend Theme Park to anyone.... Read review

...Theme Park World Theme Park World is an amazing sequel to the classic Theme Park. All the good bits from Theme Park are combined with some new amazing ideas, like being able to play the side-shows in your park as sub-games. All the boring parts from theme park have been left out so you don’t have to order in stocks of food and drink or negotiate boring deals with your staff, you can just get straight into the action of building rides shops and entertainers etc. Unfortunately you can’t get all of the rides and shops at once, you have to research them by hiring researchers to discover new rides and shops. ...We all know about Theme Park, a great game. The best thing about it is that you could be as nice or as evil as you wanted. You could either make yours the cheapest park in the world, or laugh at the little people paying extortionate amounts to get in. Provide top quality food and snacks, or bump up the amout of salt on your chips and make the little people buy more drinks, which of course were 80% ice! You could build the most exciting rollercoaster in the world or build one that threw the little people off in all directions. Ha ha ha ha ha (evil laugh)! So it was with great exitement that I trundled down to the shop to buy my copy of the brand spanking new Theme Park World. And it's awful! If it was a drink it would be 80% ice, if it was a burger it would be nearly all fat, and if it was a rollercoaster it would send you... Read review

...Do you want to know how to get Theme Park world for only £4.97? Then read on. I stumbled upon this great deal while shopping down at my local Asda supermarket (Cardiff) and just had to part with my spare fiver. This game is an update of the massively popular Theme park game released about 5 years ago now. The basic principle is to manage a virtual theme park, including the building of rides and the riding of them. This new version boast some very impressive 3d rendered graphics, but I would say you need a hefty PC to run it (It jurks slightly on my P450, 128 Mb RAM, 12Mb Voodoo2) which is higher than the recommended on the box. This new version is in 3D but in a way isn’t, yes its rendered but you still find yourself placing the rides facing the camera, and you can't build under or above ground, unlike Rollercoaster Tycoon...
