...Linkin Park is one of my favourite bands, they play an alternative American rock/metal music, their first mainstream album Hybrid Theory was an amazing collection of songs. This album has its own unique style of rock music combining scream singing, rapping and electric percussion. The track listing on this cd is: Papercut This is a great song about paranoia, this song really shows of the talents of all members in the band, it is mostly rapped and one of the best songs on the album. Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory Review

Advantages: timeless songs and endless entertianment for evey occasion
Disadvantages: the cover is a big confusing but that would be the only downfall of the product

...Linkin Park has been a favourite band of mine for years now and this was the third CD of theirs that I bought, this amazing CD came out in 2000, a new millennium, a new CD for Linkin Park. Compared to all their other CD?s I have to say that ?Hybrid Theory? is my favourite, the combination of Linkin park songs that most of which have become metal legends, is outstanding. The song that stands out most to me is, of course, Runaway. This song illustrates the injustice of the world in a truly original way. This song exercises the never ending question of ?why?? and ?how?? the first track on this CD is ?Paper cut? also a truly original track. The beginning starts of all mysterious and creepy then the tempo picks up for a few seconds. This is repeated several times throughout the track. The overall effect is astounding and foreboding...

...I would just like to write a review on the AB Guide to Music Theory, a book written by Eric Taylor in conjunction with the syllabus for the graded exams as run for the theory of music by the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM). This review is on Part One, or rather the book that sets out what is covered for Grades one to five. And for those who are interested, Part Two deals with Grades five to eight although there is not an actual area or space to write about this on Ciao for now. But in the meantime, let us return to Part One. As already noted, it is published by the ABRSM to cover thheir syllabus for the theory of music exams and was published first in 1989 although there have been many subsequent publishings since this time. The Linkin Park Theory UPDATED

Advantages: They are quite energetic, its a good cd with lots of good songs on it

...I personally am quite a big fan of Linkin' Park. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I can understand why Linkin' Park might not be of their taste in music. Anyway, I have decided to write this op on the 6 guy band to get across my view (plus I needed something else to write about lol). THE BAND: Linkin' Park is not just a rock band. This is generally what that they are seen as. The band members describe their music as a "cross-section of many genres; a hybrid of what the six of us have grown up on" explain the lads of Linkin' Park. The title of their lastest album (and its original band name), "Hybrid Theory" describes both the "6 piece's" artistic goal and its approach to making music. ...Hello everyone! This is my first ever review on Ciao! As everybody seems to doing it at school I thought that I had better join in! As I'm new to this I would appreciate comments advising me on how to improve or add things to my opinions. I'm positive they won't be good to start off with so any comments at all would help me a great deal! Anyway, on with the review: Linkin Park - Hybrid theory is one of the best albums of the year in my opinion. Now I'm not a great listener of this particular type of music, but I decided to try this album based on the single Crawling by the same artist. There is a mixture of softer to heavy tracks which makes them all different, this is refreshing and makes it easier to listen to. The album is only 37 minutes long split into 12 tracks. This makes it easy to listen to as it doesn't take that long...

Passing the theory test -Without books

Advantages: It works for me i passed
Disadvantages: Boring and repetitive

...I passed my theory test in August 2007, and i was so excited, i prepared myself very well, and i prayed i could pass. How i prepared: To be totally honest i didnt lift a book to prepare for my theory test, i just went online, and i did all the mock tests i could find, and i kept doing them and doing them until i couldnt look another one , and i learnt all the stuff i needed to know and i learnt from the mistakes. I know people read the theory test book, and stuff, but i am awful, any book i lift, i get bored and tired and end up dropping it and sleeping within the half hour, so i knew that wasnt the method for me. I also got the dvd disks which contained all you needed to know for your whole test, including video clips of the hazard preception, practical test show me tell me and then a few mock theory tests. Advantages: Real DSA theory test questions
Disadvantages: Quite boring and time consuming

...I bought this shortly after I started learning to drive. I also bought the Hazard Perceoption disc, and the Practical disc, as they came in a box together as a set. I think it was about £30 from WH Smith. This Theory disc was the most useful of the three. As well as theory questions, it had plenty of hazard perception clips, including 10 that are official DSA sample clips, so it wasn't really neccessary to have a separate disc just for hazard perception. The practical disc was the least useful. I used it once or twice but gave up on it pretty quickly, it doesn't help you with actual driving in real life at all. If I had known this before I would have saved some money and just bought this Theory Test disc on its own, as it is really good and I found it really helpful. I've previously called it "entertaining", but not the best, and that I had no intention of buying the audio version of it, as I didn't think it was worth any further outlay. This is doubly true because it's read by Stephen King himself, and my previous experiences of his reading have been none too favourable, either. Advantages: Loud, Melodic, Worth The Money

.... Standout tracks would have to be the singles..... One Step Closer, Crawling, Papercut & In The End, four fantastic tracks that highlight everything that Linkin Park are about. One Step Closer the debut single is a brooding rock monster that incorporates both Shinoda and Bennington to great effect. In The End is without doubt their greatest song so far ... a ballad/rock tune that would warm the coldest soul with it's beautiful lyrics and hard driven chorus. Pushing Me Away is my favourite of the non-released tracks, sending a clear message of being kept out of the loop, being left out and not being told things by someone close to you. There is no question that the band has become repetitive since the release of 'Meteora' (a record that I believe pales in comparison to Hybrid Theory) and that the critics are justified on some fronts.
