If you print labels, you NEED this
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 400 by
The-Entertainment-King
Advantages: No Messing about with sheet labels
Disadvantages: None
...need them.
Print quality is excellent and no need to worry about ink cartridge like I first did as there is none. It work on a thermal transfer principal, thus the special labels.
Unit looks VERY nice, easy to use and straightforward....

My handy little office princess
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 310 by
Wearsidelass
Advantages: Only uses one label at a time
Disadvantages: Doesn't print in colour
... Then place the spool guide on the right side of the spool and adjust it accordingly.
Insert the label spool into the slots in the printer cover.
The first label needs to be cut in half so there is a clean edge and insert the label into the label feed slot.
The printer will then automatically feed the label through.
Close the top cover
This LabelWriter is a direct thermal printer and doesn’t use toner, ink cartridges or a ribbon. Instead, it uses heat from a thermal print head to print on specially treated labels which can be bought from your office stationery supplier.
It is approximately 13cm high and 16cm wide and it has a dark blue wave design on the lower part with silver colour on the top part.
Now the machine was installed and labels inserted, I was raring to go! Talk about...

My Brother's mate
Review of Brother TZ 231 - labels - 1 pcs. by
donf18
Advantages: Weatherproof and long lasting, good adhesive qualities
Disadvantages: A bit pricey
...for a great number of years, since I have not had the machine that long I cannot vouch personally for the longevity claims, but on first appearances it certainly looks and feels as though the claims might well be justified.
It comes in various combinations of colours, by this I mean foreground and background colours. I am currently using the black on white version, which is probably the most popular, and it is housed in a cartridge which fits neatly into the printer with the tape facing the print heads.Once you have printed onto the selected tape it is clear to see the quality of print that it produces, I say it, it obviously has a bit of help from it's brother printing machine. The tapes are also available in varying widths from 6mm up to about 14mm but the usage depends on the model of printer used. It is a thermal transfer tape which simply...

The simplest, easiest printer money can buy
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 310 by
Dave1508
Advantages: Simple set up, ease of use, friendly software interface
Disadvantages: Not a colour printer(If that is a disadvantage!!)
...Ever found printing off labels with the inkjet, a complete pain to setup? This is the simplest machine I've ever used. Just throw in the setup disc folow the on screen instructions and you're there. Once set up the Dymo label software, which comes with the printer, coudn't make life any easier. With its own address book, label designer, just pick the label number from the drop down list add the details, and print! Other sources can also be printed, such as Excel, access and wordperfect. The Help guide is actually informative, and produces a good step by step guide.
Printing is almost instantaneous, unlike the standard Inkjet printer, as the data transferred is miniscule. It comes complete with USB cable and power supply, all instructions and software. Also included is a handy Labels Swatch book, for a quick reference to all the Dymo...

My friend called Dymo!
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 330 Turbo by
nuttynaomi
Advantages: Fast, Looks neat and sexy like me!!!!
Disadvantages: only black and white.
...The Dymo Label Writer 330 Turbo.
----------------------
At the beginning:-
----------------------
The reason my company bought this label printer was that my computer is new to the office and I therefore had no 'creature comforts' that the other girls have got on their computers and desks. All the other computers have Seiko label printers, however we have 3 of them already and they are expensive to run and the print quality is only OK. So I managed to con my boss into letting me have one of these sexy red machines on my desk!
I rooted around and we eventually bought it from Euroffice for £89 in the end of season sale as it was an end of line. It retailed at over £200 normally so I was so chuffed id bagged a bargain for my company so early on!
Unfortunately, it was out of stock when we ordered it due to the great demand...

Dymo's Dynamo!
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 320 by
jayandfoo
Advantages: Handy to use, great quality labels, never runs out of ink
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, noisy, can't print colour
...At the beginning of this year, we ordered a Dymo Labelwriter 320 from PC World Business.
I had never used one of these before, but we were in definite need of one, myself in particular. I work in a busy Accounts department and Sales Invoices and Payments are sent out nearly every day. We couldn't use Window envelopes for the invoices, due to the way they were set out, so each time I needed to send an invoice, I would use a sheet of 21 Address labels. It got to the point where not only was I getting peeved at being at the printer every five minutes for one measly label, but our printer was unreliable and so messed up a lot of the labels, resulting in a lot of waste. That's when the Dymo labelwriter was mentioned by a colleague who had used one in a previous job.
I originally went onto www.dymo.co.uk to check out the Labelwriter...
