Thermaltake Silent DualFan 420w PSU
Review of Thermaltake Silent Purepower TT-420APD - power supply - 420 Watt by
Dave_UK
Advantages: Powerful, cheap, quiet
Disadvantages: none
...Modern PC's are requiring more and more power. Cheap power supplys simply arent cutting it anymore, and can often cause problems. I recently purchased a Hercules Radeon 9700Pro graphics card (which I have also reviewed on Ciao), and thus I decided to equip my PC with a more capable PSU.
>Value<
Thermaltake do several lower models, but I felt that the 420w would be a safe bet to cope with my 2 Optical drives, new graphics card, and other hardware. Online reviews of this power supply were very good, so I was pleased to find the unit lived up to my expectations. I was even more pleased to find that the unit retails for about £40 on dabs.com - much cheaper than equivalent models from Antec or Enermax.
>First Impressions<
First impressions were good - the unit sports a dual fan configuaration with smart, strong gold...

An excellent case by Thermaltake"
Review of Thermaltake Highest Xaser III V2000A Super Tower V2000A by
Ashiro
Advantages: Solid build and numerous features
Disadvantages: Minor flaw with the expansion card fixing bracket
...[Introduction]
Thermaltake is a name some may recognise as being in the CPU and case cooling markets however they are now getting a growing reputation for a fantastic array of pre-modded cases. This reputation is well deserved as I will show in the following paragraphs.
[Specs]
The Xaser III case has the following specifications:
• Dimensions: 531 x 206 x 521mm
• Weight: 17kg (steel chassis) / 8.5kg (aluminum chassis)
• Drive Bays: 4 external 5.25”, 2 external 3.5”, 6 internal 3.5”
• Expansion slots: (7)
• Motherboard type: Standard ATX
• Power Supply is optional so I won’t go into it here
• Top mounted Firewire, USB 2.0 (x2), headphone and mic jack hidden under a spring flap
• Cooling: 7 80mm case fans (2400 RPM / 38 CFM / 21 dBA each)
• Colours: Blue, silver or black
My personal choice was the silver case...

Thermaltake Tsunami Dream, What a beautiful case!
Review of Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000BWA by
faggyflex
Advantages: Very robust, build quality, looks
Disadvantages: fimsy top lid, noisy case fans
...Ive owned the Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000BWA (windowed version) for around 8 months now, I chose it as the case that would house my very own PC "creation", a custom built desktop PC.
This case looks absolutely stunning. As you can see in the photo, there the curved brushed metal door on the front of the case I've owned the Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000BWA (windowed version) for around 8 months now, I chose it as the case that would house my very own PC "creation", a custom built desktop PC.
This case looks absolutely stunning. As you can see in the photo, the curved brushed metal door on the front of the case has two discreet blue LEDs which really make the case look elegant at night.
The case comes with 3 fans, a very large intake fan at the front, large exhaust fan at the rear, and a small side fan attached...

Thermaltake quality in a massive Package!!
Review of Thermaltake Xaser Kandalf VA9000BWS by
Dave1508
Advantages: Will Take everything including the kitchen sink
Disadvantages: Could be too big for most Home users
...It's big, it's black and it's bloody heavy!! But thats not the review. Thermaltake has made some outstanding cases over the years and this rates as one of them. If you can't tell from this statement I'm a big fan of the thermaltake brand, and bought one of these to replace my Xaser 3 when they first came out. The first thing to strike home is the dimensions. It is a server sized case, with 10 (or 11 if you remove the drawer) 5.25" bays. 3 of these are taken up by the removable hard drive unit, which has an intregal 120mm fan onboard. Another is used for the system switch bay/floppy caddy. As I said before it is heavy at 18kg unladen, and as with the Xaser 3 this has a little to do with the 2 large, full face 3mm aluminium sheets they use for doors. However it is striking, and more of an art piece than a case.
Inside at the top rear...

I don't want an accessories shop for kiddies...
Review of Claire's Accessories (Shop) by
WinsomeCh
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Not very good quality
...Claire's accessories is a good store for those who could not afford any better. Yes, the accessories are cheap, the variety is vast, but I do think the quality is not that great.
I used to be a regular customer of Claire's accessories. It was when I was much younger and the money I had was limited. Indeed Claire's accessories are very attractive to the eye, and as the prices are generally very affordable, I used to buying a lot of by accessories there. But as I grow older and am able to afford better stuff, I gradually realise that the quality there is indeed not very good. Several of the necklaces I bought from Claire's are tarnished, and two of the three bracelets I bought for my friend broke.
Also, I sometimes find it hard to find well designed stuff there. Especially the more fashionable designs - what you could find...

A great site for accessories and present-shopping
Review of AccessoriesStudio.com by
MissMagic87
Advantages: Wide range, Very user-friendly, Free postage for replacements
Disadvantages: No order tracking, No free returns
...I first visited AccessoriesStudio.com a couple of months ago after spotting an ad in Look magazine, and it has become one of the shopping sites that I check regularly if I need to buy a gift or want to get myself a little treat! I have placed one order with them so far that I was very pleased with.
AccessoriesStudio.com sells products in 5 categories:
Handbags
Jewellery
Scarves
Belts
and Skincare, which is a new addition to the range.
These categories are easy to spot at the top left of the screen, and when you select one they are sub-divided according to the type of product you are looking for, e.g. necklaces, bracelets, rings etc. for the jewellery section. This is particularly useful for the handbag range as the categories make it easy for you to search for the exact style of bag you want.
You can also search by brand...

Accessories and more
Review of Claire's Accessories (Shop) by
ms19
Advantages: good little accessories, good bargains
Disadvantages: crowded, staff not always pleasant
...I know a lot of people that when you say Claire's Accessories they would say oh that shop for teenagers but it isn't for them only, it's for girls in general. Females I should maybe say it sells a lot of things that are not too expensive but very nice still. From the branches I have been in I have seen them sell make-up, nail accessories, bags, books and so many things.
This shop is not only in the UK because I saw t in America so I don't actually know where it started. One main thing I know this shop for is piercing ears they are trained I'm sure but I don't think I could trust anyone. They pierce ears usually right at the front of the shop and everyone can watch, they will probably be fine but they could do it away from the customers buying and I have heard that not all of the staff here actually know how to pierce.
I love...

Claire can keep her accessories
Review of Claire's Accessories (Shop) by
emilystobbs
Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: cheap tacky and horrible!
...I always cringe when I pass this shop. All I can see through the window is rail upon rail of tacky hair accessories and the kind of jewellery that would bring you out in an allergic rash. I'm not a big fan of Claire's accessories although I trusted them to pierce my ears several times. The thing that I find particularly repulsive is the overdose of glitter and fluffy feathers, they look cheap and unsurprisingly ARE cheap. This is the only virtue of the shop, the true value of their goods is acknowledged.
Another thing that makes the Claire's Accessories shopping experience all the more worse is the fact that the shop is only designed to hold 3 people so the dreams of a swift exit are out of reach. There's clutter everywhere, you can never shift the thought that you're about to be buried alive by fluffy pink hairclips at any moment...

Accessories
Review of Claire's Accessories (Shop) by
tabyorky
Advantages: cheap, plenty to choose from
Disadvantages: staff seem miserable
...Claire's accessories is a shop for the females. It's mainly young children and teenagers that shop here but you do find older women here too.
The shop sells:-
hair accessories
nail varnish
belts
purses
jewellery and more
You can also have your ears pierecd here too.
I've been in the shop a couple of times now to buy hair accessories and nail varnish. There is a wide range of items to choose from in different colours.
As soon as you go through the door though, they are lunging a hand basket at you. If you do not take one they do not seem too pleased about it either.
When you are paying for your goods, they always ask if you want to buy the bargain of the day like a nail file. They do not seem to be satisfied with what you take to the counter at all.
The shop is quite small but it does sell plenty of items.
It...

Who needs accessories anyway
Review of Claire's Accessories (Shop) by
siany
Advantages: Sales can be good
Disadvantages: Tiny shops
...Claire's accessories should only been ventured in when you know exactly want you want,or are basically desperate!
This is mainly because of four things
1.The shops are so tiny, but, are also packed to the brim with stands filled with accessories.Clutter is everywhere and ona Saturday afternoon don't even try it!
2.They try and fool you into thinking prices are cheap but there are usually not.£6.00 for a frame is quite expensive if you ask me, with cheaper things around the check out to suck you in.
3.Whenever you go there the shop is over run by young teenage girls looking at the entire contents of the shop and trying every slide yo every boa on and this is really not goo.Believe you me!(Was i really that bad?)
4.I've heard very nasty stories about the ear piercing and lats face it, they must be sadistic to put every ear piercing...
