...I bought this product for 90 pence from my local supermarket. I don't know what made me pick it up as I am usually a stores own person. When I used it my toilet bowl was in a bit of a limescale state. To my suprise when I used this bleach I could actually see the bowl getting clean. The instructions state to leave overnight but in my house this is quite a hard task - having left for a mere 2 hours my bowl was sparkling. The bottle has a great child resistant lid and didn't seem to drip with use. It has very clear instructions on how to use with toilets, floors, sinks ect. On the whole I found it to be a very good, no excellent product but to me it just did not last long enough. It may be the thickest ever or maybe I just use too much. I havn't replaced it with the same again as I'd rather buy the shops own... Read review

Advantages: THE SMELL !!!
Disadvantages: dont get any of it on your coloured clothes.

...I love to use bleach..there... I've said it..I use it like its going out of fashion. I use it on the work surfaces and floor in the kitchen. I use it in the bathroom for the loo and to clean the shower walls and around the sink..I use it firstly as a germ deterrent and secondly because it keeps everything stain free......however the one problem with bleach is the smell. Its no so bad for the first few moments but then it really starts to get into the back of your throat and its not really a nice smell to have lingering around the house..especially in the kind of quantities I use it. THEN I discoverd Sainsbury's Thick Bleach in Summer Breeze. A wonderfully unbleachy smell. It costs 65p and comes in a lovely tangarine coloured bottle of 750ml. Advantages: Attractive pink bottle. It kills germs.
Disadvantages: The bleach isn't pink!!!!

...Now I know what you're thinking.........PINK???? but yes that's what colour my bottle of bleach is. (get your minds out of the gutter please) This bottle of Domestos bleach is 750ml, it's a lovely girly cerise pink colour, and has a red screw cap which of course is meant to be child-resistant, but like most of these caps my 7 year old has no problems opening them! So keep it out of reach of children to be safe! The cap is opened by gently squeezing the side of the cap and turning at same time. Now the blurb on the front of the bottle tells me it is the "Thickest Ever" and it says "Pink Power Bleach" and it " Kills All Known Germs" Ooooh I say Pink bleach i'll have some of that....it'll look good down the loo! Advantages: cleaning made easy

...Last week in my local safeways i noticed a 2l of parazone on special offer for 0.99p, not like me to walk past a bargain so i bought it. You can use this bleach neat in toilets, sinks and drains. You can also use it diluted on work surfaces, chopping boards, baths, sinks and floors (use 60ml per 5 litres of water). Also for cold bleaching/stain removal dilute 20ml per 5 litres of water. I use this product maily for my toilet, sink and drains. The bleach is quite thick and i bought the original parazone, you can get it in a range of different scents. So the original smells ok and the smell of bleach doesnt last for long after you've used it (some bleaches smell for ages!) You dont need to pour half the bottle down the toilet to get it clean, just a little squirt around the rim and i usually leave it for 5minutes then flush... Read review

...Lidl bleach is cheap at about 79p and very good value for money for a 750ml bottle. It is called IZAL the one that we use and it does the job just as well as any other more pricey bleaches. It is pine thick and comes in a green plastic bottle which doesn't feel like it's made out of expensive material, but nonetheless it does the trick. I'm not going to rant on about the quality of this bottle because it's just to ordinary standard, but if you consider that most bleaches will cost over £1 nowadays I'm sure you don't mind paying less for the material of the product. Lidl bleach can be used inside and outside the home to give long lasting germ kill protection which I do like about this product. ...At night when everyone has gone to bed and the chances are lower for anyone using the toilet is when I like to put bleach/toilet cleaner down the toilet. Basically because it gives it more time to work. During the day if you go to clean it in our home anyway, the minute you put the bleach down someone wants to go and it makes it a waste of time even thinking of doing the job. Until recently I must admit to using whatever toilet cleaner is to hand, and from whatever supermarket I go in to on the day that the last lot has run out. It also depended on what was in my purse on that day! We ran out one day that I just happened to be going to Sainsburys so I looked on the shelves there and found Sainsburys thick bleach with limescale deterrent in Citrus. ...the test strip so i wasn't going to wait all night! anyway, the childproof lid of course comes off with no effort and the bottle is quite comfortable to hold. so i aim the nozzle under the rim and squirt the thick yellowy/clear liquid around the bowl and also a good squirt down the u-bend. the smell, with it being a domestos product, has a very strong chloriney smell so i made a beeline for the door and left the bleach to drip down the bowl. on my return i find the bleach has virtually covered the bowl and give the loo a quick sweep with the loo brush and flush. job done. next i remove the test strip from the box and read the instructions which state to apply the test strip to the freshly cleaned bowl and hold until you notice a pink mark appear (i obviously use gloves to do this!). but i must have been bent over the loo for a good minute... ...There are certain things in life you should never scrimp on and bleach is definatly one of them. you can go down certain supermarkets and buy a 2Lt bottle of bleach for less then 20p and I have been guilty of this in the past but you really do get what you pay for ,you find the cheaper the bleach the more like water it is and the less effective it is that why now i always choose Parazone . It really is very thick and you know its going to cling to the toilet in the places that you want it too and not just sink to the bottom without trace. It will also prevent limscale but however ,it won't remove it . It does claim to come in verious varietys but in my opinion one bleach smells just like another . Parazone is also the only bleach I know that you can find on a buy one get one free promotion just about every week if you look... Read review

...it today that I realised it doesn't have a child safety top. I thought that these were standard on products such as this but obviously not. The top has a long, narrow spout with 'press' at the base. When you press the base it raises the nozzle slightly. I still found it necessary to use my thumb to lift it completely but this method is also recommended on the bottle. For a budget product, the thickness is quite good and the fragrance is acceptable. There is indeed a hint of pine and it's not too overpowering. Cleaning wise I am extremely inpressed. The bottle states that it has a 'long-lasting' germ kill protection so that is fine by me also. It is suitable for use neat in toilets, outside drains and sinks and can also be used diluted on work surfaces, basins and in cold bleaching. As with all bleach it is irritating to eyes... ...I recently went to buy bleach at Asda and for a change bought their own brand make. Usually I get domestos. The bleach cost 66p for 750ml, which is about 30p less than domestos. I bought the Apple version, which is a green bottle. The bottle is very simple with a boring label. It has an angled head which allows easy pouring. The liquid itself is yellowy and thick. I used it on my toilet, bath plug hole and sink plug holes (bathroom & kitchen) I left it for about 5 minutes before washing off. It just smelt like bleach rather than apples, don't understand that one..... When washed off, the results were excellent, all muck and limescale removed, just like when domestos is used Overall an ok bleach that is fine for the cost... Read review
