...Introduction ########## I wanted a hair thickening product. So after lots of research I decided to go for American Crew. They have a name for professional hair grooming products - so they have a reputation in the grooming line for men. My expectations were high - so here iis my review after 1 month of use. The Shampoo ########### It comes in a stylish brown bottle which is 250ml it cost me £7.95 online from the official store. The lid is the standard flip top you get on most shampoo bottles these days. Using it - the smell is just amazing, I was really impressed. It's the kind of smell which reminds you of the barbers, from a fresh haircut. The range has a choice of three - Thickening, Scrub & Run (which also conditions) or Detox (for removal of pollutants such as wax, gel, etc.). The Thickening Shampoo is my shampoo of choice. My hair is normal/greasy, and one wash leaves my hair feeling and looking thicker and very soft to touch (even when I've used gel/wax in my hair). You don't need to use a lot as it produces a creamy, rich lather, so you get the most out of the money you pay for it. I use it everyday, and find that is suitable for everyday use, causing no irritation to my scalp. THE BEST SHAMPOO I HAVE EVER USED!!

...This is my first review, so not totally sure how it goes, but i'll give it a go... Having used many MANY different shampoos for straightening hair or adding volume, I came across Joico Body Luxe Shampoo and thought i'd give it a shot-and i was glad that i did! The shampoo has a very pleasant, fruity kind of smell, that is not overpowering as many shampoos are. A little goes a long way with this shampoo so not much is needed. It works into a thick foaming lather and smells divine. Without the use of any conditioner, my hair felt instantly fuller. After blow drying my hair and straightening it with my beloved GHDs i was amazed at how much volume my hair had (it looked as if i had double the hair), and it also stayed a lot straighter than it usually does! ...Boots expert thickening shampoo I often buy the Boots Expert range and when this thickening shampoo was on special offer £1 in my local Boots store, i decided to give it a go. I don't have thinning hair but decided that if it made it thicker, that was good, and if all it did was give it a good clean then that also worked for me. WHAT IS IT? Too Bold, or not too Bold, Thicken what you have.

Advantages: Thickens hair, gives more coverage and makes you feel good
Disadvantages: You have to buy it and fight the women off.

...Dove shampoo is a great shampoo for every day use. It leaves your hair looking and feeling really healthy and moisturised but not greasy. Application You use Dove shampoo in the same way that you would use any other shampoo, though I find this shampoo a bit more lathery than others and maybe a bit harder to rinse out, nothing worth putting you off using it though. The Smell Dove shampoo smells a bit like their soap products, but it smells that way in a shampoo kind of way, if that makes sense lol. Batiste Dry Shampoo

Advantages: A fab product which leaves hair looking great

I have the type of hair which does need washing on a daily basis or else it looks greasy, dull and lifeless the day after.
