Limited edition products are available from time to time - especially around christmas which can gain value over the years. And for the dedicated enthusiast/obsessed House of Fraser and Thierry Mugler run a reward scheme and you save stars. When you ve got 100 stars (1 per £5 spent) you get a large £89 bottle of perfume or you can redeem smaller amounts of stars for different Angel products. Some bottles are refillable and some are not. Worth the extra to buy a refillable one as you can then nip off to debenhams or house of fraser and pay about £58 to refill the large £89 bottle and of course collect your stars. ...Thierry Mugler Alien, if you have not tried Thierry Mugler you should have. This perfume is amazing, when you wear it everyone comments on the scent and it lasts and lasts and lasts. It may seem a bit expensive to buy but you only need a small amount of this at a time as it is strong. I would say this particular perfume is more for night time, or lunching etc. I would tend to stick with Thierry Mugle Angel for during the day. Be ready for attention when you wear this perfume as it has an unmissable scent to it. Once someone smells it and know what it is they will not forget the scent even if they pass someone in the street who is wearing it. You get different sizes of this so you do not have to buy the larger size to start with you can try the small bottle which is not expensive but can guarantee you will want the big bottle... ...The fragrance "Angel" by Thierry Mugler is one of my many favourite perfumes. I treated myself to this from eBay about six months ago. I bought the 50ml (1.7 fl oz) bottle of perfume which was slightly used (only a smidgen less than a full bottle) but still boxed and in pristine condition for £30. I feel I got a real bargain. This sized bottle can be refilled either at an Angel Fragrance Source in Perfumeries or with an Angel refill bottle. Designer. Angel was introduced in 1993 by Thierry Mugler who is an instinctive designer whose range of fragrances took inspiration from comic books and outer space (hence some of the chosen names). In a truly inspired moment he opted to buy me a bottle of Thierry Mugler’s Angel. Now I have a deep-seated love of chocolate and I am also fond of trying out new perfumes; so my hubby thought he had hit the jackpot when the sales girl convinced him that this was THE perfume to have, as it smelled of chocolate. ...STORY OF MY BUYING DECISION...... I always loved to read about perfumes. Thierry Mugler seemed to be a crazy child of designers to be, somewhat like Jean Paul Gaultier. I've read that the designerhouse Mugler has a scent for women named Angel. There were pictures too, of a star-shaped bottle. I've got a sample of the scent too. I sprayed it, but it reminded me on a cloying masculine perfume what old men wear. After 4 years, I still ahd the scent in my memories, but I would try it again. So I bought a 5 ml sample of it. PACKAGING Blue boxes, with a dark blue/black border, with the text Angel, a star, and Muglers signature. BOTTLE Star shaped bottles, of a clear glass, with a light blue clear liquid in them. ...It's weird, when I was on a two-day trip in London a few years ago I wanted to buy a present for my boyfriend but didn't know what. Well, a nice after shave always gets appreciated so I went to look for one. I stumbled upon a promotional stand with a lady spraying Thierry Mugler's Angel for men all over the shopping public, including me. At first I found the scent to heavy but a few minutes later I started to like it. I went back and bought it. The bottle is very nice, by the way. When I gave it to my boyfriend he liked it but due to the fact that he had to many fragrances already he didn't wear it much. I had always found Angel for men and Angel for woman quite similar and tried wearing his for a change. No one noticed and I still got loads of compliments on my 'perfume'. ...Angel has always been my favourite fragrance since its release , and is like no other perfume on the market today The reason it appeals to so many wommen is that it actually contains .. yes .... chocolate !! The star shaped bottle is Thierry Mugler's signature and is made from heavy , quality glass , the added bonus now being that it can be purchased in a refillable version This is the more expensive option for your first purchase , but if , like me , you continue to use it , the benefit is great .. the refills are much cheaper than re-purchasing the wole thing and throwing away the old bottle I found that I saved around £16 on the largest sized refill ( 100 ml ) , and most of the large department stores now have the Angel Source dispenser , making it easily available And then .. joy of joys .. ...Someone discovered how to capture the essence of seduction, store it in a sexy little star shaped bottle and named it "Angel". I was in a department store about 5 maybe 6 years ago, talking to a sales assistant about a new product line by Thierry Mugler, called Angel. The lady gave me a 3ml tube of perfume to try on and I instantly fell in love. Angel wouldn't hit the High Street of another year or so but would be available soon in places such as Harrods, well that was it, Harrods, here we come. My best friend Boo and I arrived at Harrods and after buying one of every item in the product range the sales assistant even gave Boo a little goodie bag of Angel samples and testers.
