Think Thinkpad
Advantages: Speedy, Robust, Good graphics card, Connectivity
Disadvantages: Not the prettiest of designs, Annoying keyboard layout w/ no Windows key and Fn/Ctrl key placement
...INTRODUCTION
I bought myself a used IBM / Lenovo Thinkpad T41 for £129 and although it's a pretty old machine (probably from 2004) and fairly low spec by today's standards, I still feel it was a bargain. This was from Cash Converters.
DESIGN
The machine, like all IBM (now made by Lenovo) notebooks are intended for business users and so the design is not particularly sleek but instead, have a very 'professional' look to them. They all seem to be black with a little bit of red on the button and either a red or blue knob for controlling the mouse pointer. Some people think they're on the ugly side but I actually quite like the look of the Thinkpads. I've noticed that all IBM / Lenovo Thinkpads look alike and have the same body, keyboard and use the same smooth black matte material rather than plastic that most other...

How I met your mother series 1
Advantages: Funny, a good sit com with a few good storylines
Disadvantages: Trying to be the "new" friends.
...who we are told at some point in the show, is NOT the children's mother (so to me Ted and Robyns relationships are pointless as we know all along it's not going to work out somewhere along the line- this isn't a spoiler by the way, it is openly broadcast on the show when the children ask if Robyn is their mother!).
The shows story isn't really believeable, for it to take 5 series (and it's still not over) so 5 years to tell your kids how you met their mother is too long for this kind fo story to take, you wouldn't go into so much detail, and you'd simply say I met her this way. But it is an interesting story and your always waiting for Ted to meet a woman who he falls for.
This first story is pretty much establishing the story and all of the characters.
There are 22 episodes in the first series, although this is the first series...

Lenova ThinkPad R61i 7650 Review
Advantages: Easy to use, runs smoothly, good battery life and high quality.
Disadvantages: Some probelms with the wireless adapter.
...I have owned several different ThinkPad's over the years. I have enjoyed them all and found them to be extremely useful and reliable. I knew that I wanted a decent quality portable laptop that would be suitable for all the basics.
I have been using the laptop mainly for office related items such as documents and spreadsheets but have also been using it to store and edit photographs and videos. So far I have had no problems and that fact that it comes with a media card reader was very useful.
This version of the ThinkPad is pretty similar to the rest of the laptops in the series. There is little to no distortion with the screen and it is fairly bright and gives a high quality picture. I couldn't find any problems with the laptop as a whole, nothing is loose or flex's for the most part.
The R61 has pretty much all the ports...

.''.lynn...i've stood on a spike..' Alan Partridge series 2
Advantages: SILLY ,STUPID and VERY FUNNY 'STEVE COOGAN'
Disadvantages: They only made 2 series
...I'M ALAN PARTRIDGE series 2 Written By PETER BAYNHAM,STEVE COOGAN and ARMANDO LANNUCCI
Stars STEVE COOGAN as ALAN PARTRIDGE.
SERIES 2 Has 6 episodes
Alan Partridge has failed at TV presenting and so he has moved onto radio his current position is ''the third best slot'' on a Norwich Radio Station.
Lets Just say ,Alan has his own style and way of saying and doing things. He doesn't think much before he says or does something either to offend someone or embarrass himself ,he is full of catch phrases and I mean you will no doubt find yourself using some of them in every day use after watching the series.
'Cash Back'
'back of the net'
'gotta laugh when you fall of a sofa'
'don't laugh.. you've broken your neck'
'ooo ya gonna have a good time'
Better not list them all ,but that is a small few
Alan really does have a bad case...

The Apple Of My i
Advantages: Full Internet, Massive storage, Great design, Superb battery life.
Disadvantages: The Megapixel of the camera is put to shame by other phones available.
...I had been waiting for this day for some time. My 18 month contract with T-Mobile is coming up for renewal next week, however having had problems gaining reception in my area I'd opted to look elsewhere for a new contract. A few weeks back my problems were solved when I was shopping around to try and find the best mobile contract, and discovered that O2 would be stocking the Apple iPhone as of November the 9th. Not only was I looking for a new mobile contract, but also a replacement MP3 player so the Apple iPhone seemed ideal. I made plans to purchase the iPhone and on the evening of release made my way down to the nearest O2 store upon finishing work, bagging myself my very own iPhone at a price of £269. Although the price did seem a little steep, especially considering that I would be paying out a further £35 a month for the contract...

Wish I had watched the series on TV!
Advantages: sooooooo many of them!
Disadvantages: some episodes don't come together good!
...I presume you are very surprised by the fact that I am actually reviewing a box set, but I can?t help it, I was given this one for Christmas and if you do not like my review on this then I would like help due to the fact that this sort of review is very new to me. And a few more box sets are on their way.
I got interested in Charmed due to some of my friends as they couldn?t stop talking about the TV Programme. So I wanted to start watching them on TV, only problem was, was that it was like the 3rd series in and therefore could not really start watching it for the first time, so I decided to check out the prices at HMV and Zavvi up town, but they were £20.00 each and I never had enough money for them, then all of a sudden Christmas 2008 popped up, and the friend I went to town with had bought me the box set and I was really happy but...

Aha, it's none other than I'm Alan Partridge (series 1)
Advantages: Stays funny after several views. Good value for money.
Disadvantages: Too few episodes.
...garage), he somehow manages to alienate them in his own inimitable way. For anybody who has seen Partridge before, then this is certainly a must, as in my opinion it is probably the best series of the Alan Partridge saga. Besides the 6 half-hour episodes included, the DVD also has a second disc dedicated to special features and extras, including a huge array of out-takes.
On top of all this, the DVD is affordable to even the most discerning of budgets. At less than a tenner, for what it's worth, it could even be described without haste as a bargain. Overall, I would strongly recommend this as a comedy DVD that will stand out from the rest on the shelf of light entertainment.
In the words of Partridge himself - 'ruddy bloody good'....

iPhone
Advantages: Great interface. Excellent Music Clarity.
Disadvantages: Limited Official Apps
...have Skype, Webtexting and Photo based apps in no time. The Installer interface is very user friendly.
The call qulaity from the iPhone is satisfactory. Volume control can be hard to use when in a call especially if a case is being used (More on that later). Texting is surprisingly simple with the on screen keyboard. The iPhones touchscreen is like nothing before in its percision. on screen correction is made possible by iPhones inbuilt dictionary.
Music is a large part of the iPhones selling point and in my opinion is the exact same clarity and timbre that we have come to expect from Apple. Volume control can be hard on the on screen volume control if you have larger fingers however. The interface is the exact same as the iTouch series.
Web browsing on the iPhone is a dream with an inbuilt Safari browser. I have yet to meet a site...

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER - the series that can not be missed!
Advantages: great actors, fantasic story, excellent humor
Disadvantages: i cant find it
...This is really the best TV series, since the «Friends»!
In the center is the story of architect Ted, who had decided to tell his children the story of how he met their mother.Kids not even suspect that history may be delayed. And all because the dad had decided to talk in detail about everything that was in his impetuous youth, which led him to meet with their mother.
For example there is a Ted's best friend - Marshal, with whom they are friends since college, who is about to marry his long-standing girlfriend Lily. And they also happened a lot of interesting things.
And Ted is a friend of Barney. And this tough loner really puller in itself almost half of the series! In general, look at it a pleasure, because the amazing Neil Patrick Harris playing a role very good! Script is also to be commended for the chips of all...

I'm Alan Partridge - Series 1
Advantages: Endless hours of humour!
Disadvantages: None what so ever!
...Firstly, before I begin, may I point out - only one review of this DVD before this one, bizarre! Surely more people out there love Alan Partridge?!?
People thought it was all over for Alan since he shot dead a guest on 'Knowing Me, Knowing You', but no, he came 'bouncing back'. Despite living in the Linton travel tavern halfway between Norwich and London and hosting 'Up With The Partridge' on Radio Norwich (the 4am - 7am shift), he does his best to get his face back on TV, no matter what...
Episode 1: A Room With Alan
Alan's meal at the BBC with Tony Hayers trying to get a second series goes from bad to worse - from suggesting 'monkey tennis' and 'arm wrestling with Chaz & Dave' to asking Hayers to; 'Smell my cheese you mother!', having just splashed out on a new £324,000 house, with 'enough room to swing a tiger, but you...
