...I recently read a review on Ciao about the poor performance of Radio 1’s breakfast show and, as I was reading, I found myself smiling and thinking that the reviewer should try my local radio station, 2CRFM (which stands for 2 Counties Radio - meaning Dorset & Hampshire). I started listening to their breakfast show several years ago when Graham Mack was the presenter. I found him to be totally spellbinding – and he just didn’t care what he said or did. His side-kick was called Richie and Graham made Richie dress up as a chicken and called him the “The Travel Chicken”. Richie always had to perform various stunts and it was really hilarious. ...Well guess what i've been doing all morning? I'd like to say i've been working hard, and am knackered! But that would be a lie. I have been sitting on my rather large bottom, and watching my favourite tv duo, (other than Ant & Dec) Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton, on my favourite day time tv programme. THIS MORNING!!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ About The Show ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I guess you'd describe this morning as a current affairs show. They have a bit of everything on it. ...There are many ways in which pregnancy can be prevented. These options always have to be taken in advance, but if your caught short or something doesn't go quite to plan shall we say, the morning after pill may be the only option. From my experience, i decided i was too embarrased to walk into the local youth clinic to get hold of this, but on discovery of walking into boots and finding out the morning after pill / levonelle costs £27 to buy over the counter, i soon changed my mind! I went back to the youth clinic, and with a red face, told the woman at the desk why i was there. I had to wait a good twenty minutes to half an hour, but at least it was free. This youth centre was only for people up to 25 yrs so i'm not sure if there's anywhere you can get it free above that age. The nurse asked for the details so i told her... Read review

...Reading another Ciao member's opinion on This Morning inspired me to add my own thoughts on the subject. This programme has gone from strength to strength. Originally the set was based in The Albert Dock in Liverpool and as this is my home town, it was very easy to jump in the car and spend an idle day there, especially during the summer holidays. It was really amusing watching people standing around and peering into the large smoked glass windows at Richard & Judy (we never did of course!!!)Although on the television the windows looked clear,they were actually very dark and it was rather difficult to see into the studios from outside. I am sure people didn't realise how funny they looked on screen, squinting and straining to see what was going on. We would watch Fred on his British Isle,jumping from region to region... ...If anything comes close to ‘Fairy Liquid’ it has to be Morning Fresh, I seldom use anything other than say Fairy Liquid or Morning Fresh. Morning Fresh is just as good as Fairy Liquid, it comes in lemon flavour and actually works when you do your washing up. It’s nice on your hands, and you can rely on it, to clean the dishes. It’s not thin, but thick, and you only need to use a little to see the difference, you can see the affects when you have soaked some dishes at night, and you wake the next morning to find the dishes only need a rinse. A bottle of Morning Fresh lasts for upto three weeks depending on how often you wash dishes. And like them other brands you don’t need to squeeze a lot out to get good results. We are of course, talking about the ‘’This Morning Show’ which husband and wife team Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan presented for 13 years up until this summer. I will admit that I thought the programme itself was a bit cheesy with the different goings on but it was a somewhat watchable show. Hands up, I was one of those people that said “I can’t stand that programme” without having actually sat down and watched it. Until having children, I wasn’t actually in the house to be able to watch it, but after my fist child was born, I used the time she was sleeping to put my feet up for half an hour and watch whatever was on.
