Have fun with Thomas and his friends fuzzy felt
Review of Fuzzy Felt Thomas And Friends Tin by
mumsymary
Advantages: good toy
Disadvantages: none
...If you were born post 1950 then you probably will have played with fuzzy felt. This is when fuzzy felt was launched. The idea and design came from Lois Adams who in the second hand war used her farms outbuildings to make felt for gaskets for tanks. Lois created snippets of felt into shapes for the children of the workers to play with. This developed into fuzzy felt the children's toy.
Fuzzy felt is recommended for children 3 and over.
There have been and are many sets /designs of fuzzy felt, the one I am telling you about today is the Thomas and friends fuzzy felt tin box.
The fuzzy felt set comes in a blue tin. The tin has pictures embossed onto it.
I think it is useful to have a tin for fuzzy felt keeps the product in good order,
Inside the tin are two fuzzy felt boards. There are laminated characters pieces of Thomas and his...

Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE
...THOMAS AND FRIENDS LEARNING CURVE SETS
PRODUCT
It is mostly wooden and is built from North American hard maple and is very hardwearing it is built to last and made to a very high standard.
BRIEF HISTORY OF THOMAS AND FRIENDS
Thomas was created in the early 1940's and is a creation of Reverend Wilbert Awdry. All good things have simple beginings so it seems right that Thomas came to life in the early 1940's as a wooden toy which Reverend Awdry made for his son.
Thomas and his friends work on the railways of the island of Sodor which is a fictional island in the irish sea. Thomas has the responsibility of running a branch line and carrying passengers on his two coaches Annie and Clarabl to the main line.

It includes eight 'All New Stories', featuring Thomas, Percy, James, Edward, Toby, Duck, Rheneas & Skarloey and the Fat Controller in 'action-packed brave adventures.' Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends
Review of Thomas the Tank Engine by
thespurs
Advantages: Great stories, good engines, educational experience
Disadvantages: The new stories aren't as good
...I am now 17 years old, but I do still love watching the odd Thomas The Tank Engine story very ocassionly. I grew up watching it and I had, and still do have, most of the videos and story books. I was pleased to discover that the programmes and concept is still going strong. They are continuing to make new stories and introduce more characters, both of which have some positive and negative costs. I will write everything that I know about Thomas The Tank Engine and try and gives those of you who haven't seen it before, a good idea of what it all involves.
Thomas The Tank Engine (and Friends), is a childrens programme about the trains that operate on the island of Sodor. It follows them through their ups and downs and also their funny moods and strops that they get into. Each story tends to have a message at the end...

Peep Peep Thomas
Review of Thomas & Friends Noisy Surprise by
newby2
Advantages: a great book
Disadvantages: none
...Thomas & Friends Noisy Surprise Book
This was just one of many presents that Jack received from my Mum this year and it is one he absolutely loves. He is really into reading and I have found it difficult to read with his paper books as he often tried to reach out and scrunch up the pages. With board books of course he can't do this and this one is just like that.
Noisy Surprise is a board book with sound buttons that can be pressed to make all different noises relating to the pictures. Throughout the story when a sound effect is needed there will be a symbol relating to that of one of the buttons on the right hand side of the book this can be pressed easily to make the story itself really come to life.
The book is 10 hard board pages long and each of these pages is covered with a lovely brightly coloured picture...

Children just love helping Thomas
Review of Thomas & Friends - The Great Festival Adventure (PC) by
KarlHalliwell
Advantages: The children love it. Time and Time again.
Disadvantages: Daddy is expected to sit through the programme with the children. Again and again and again!
...The fat controller has got two new helpers. Our children! Mention Thomas the Tank Engine in our house and there is always a squeal of excitement. So, this game is ideal for us.
Thomas and his friends are busy preparing for the ‘Great Festival’ and need our help.
The children start by carrying out simple maintenance to the engines and eventually end up directing the band at the festival. All of the activities are directed by ‘mouse’. This is easy for you and I, but is a bit of a struggle for our 2 and 3 year old children. But, they are learning, and that is the whole point.
Learning through play is always best with young children and after a few goes they are already becoming adept with the mouse. Along the way they are developing their listening skills by following the instructions given...
