Advantages: Looks Great, battery life is excellent, email and wi fi functions
Disadvantages: no push email, menu graphics could look better

...I recently bought an iphone which as a phone I was really disappointed with. I wanted to find a phone, which could email and undertake business applications whilst still look cool when I pulled it out in a bar at the weekend. What can I say? The Nokia E71 is all of these things. It's a solid mobile phone that looks great and does all the things it says on the tin. If I had to be negative on some points, then it would be that the menu and graphics could be more modern in their appearance and email needs to be synchronized. However on the whole the phone is excellent If you're looking for a sharp looking phone that you can use for business that won't let you down, then buy the Nokia E75....

The E71 is a fantastic smartphone, packed with features.

Advantages: Packed with features, big and bright screen, astonishing battery life

E, how did I ever live without this?!

.... They were not offering BlackBerries on the plan I wanted, but I did find a really nice phone in the form of the Nokia E71 and as soon as I read about it, I knew it was the one for me. Once again I processed the order, and much to my surprise an email came through a few days later, telling me that the order had been successful and that my phone would be with me in a few days. I have never felt so relieved in all my life! After what seemed like forever, I picked up my new phone from the post office and rushed home. Sitting myself down, I carefully prised open the box to discover the contents. Sitting on top was the shell of my phone, incomplete without its battery or sim card. Another Great Phone From Nokia

Advantages: Large Screen, Easy to Use, Small and Light, Feature Packed, Video Calling

...Yet another high quality feature packed phone from Nokia. The slim and compact design of this phone makes it not only easy to hold, but also allows easy access to the main everyday features. The large screen means that information is displayed clearly and with a lot more detail than most smaller phones. The business functions built into this phone are excellent. Three's mobile broadband

Advantages: no contracts
Disadvantages: not as fast as many non dongle internet

...I recenly purchased a pay as you go dongle from three, which enabled me to get mobile broadband. I purchased a 3GB allowance top up that cost me 15 GBP. All top ups last for 30 days. I purchased mine on 01/09/09 and it expired 30/09/09. I spend about 4 hours a day on the internet, I do not download any music but frequently watch videos on sites such as youtube.com. I did not run out of top up and found the speed to be quite fast and connection to be quite good. Customer service is great as you can speak to someone by calling the three customer service number if you have any problems, which is an 078 number (so cost the same as a mobile number and not the dreaded 0845 or 0870 number) and the staff are extremely useful. There are no contracts, credit checks or anything like that and work just like topping up a mobile phone....

Three mobile.

Advantages: i cant do it .... i can not lie ..... is there any ?... sorry no.
Disadvantages: you contract ends when they want it to. customer service shockingly bad.

...that phone ? simple Wrong , argos - no phones on 3 payg, currys- no phones on payg, phones4u - nope car phone warehouse - no, At this point we have two choices, eBay or 3 mobile website , we opted for ebay and my phone arrived 2 days later a nokia 6280 perfect. Month 9 of my contract , my husbands phone died , he runs a business and his phone was very important to him there was no time to waste , we got on to 3 customer services that said they will pick the phone up in 3 days look at it try and fix it and return it . total length of time 15 to 20 days. No problem my husband could use my phone while his was being fixed , however I asked seen as it would take so long and seen as this is not our fault (i.e it has not been dropped from a really high bridge , landed on a motorway and run over by 10 cars) we would not be charged for line...

Definately the best smartphone of 2008

...Having shopped around for a new smartphone for a few months, I decided to buy the Nokia E71. I had read many magazine articles which rated it as the Best Smartphone of 2008. I completely agree. When you first switch on the phone, the wizard guides you through the basic phone setup, and before you know it you've configured the wi-fi connection on the phone and are surfing the internet. The screen is big enough fr web browsing and sharp enough to watch movies. But after some time a bit of dust does get in under the screen, but the carry pouch that comes in the box does a very good job of keeping this dust out. The keyboard is impressive. The thin rounded tops to the keys mean even someone with bulky fingers can hit the keys they want without mistyping. Three.co.uk (3 network) could be a good mobile provider.

Advantages: Inexpensive plans and tariff
Disadvantages: network coverage, phone reception/signal, and customer services
