Advantages: Thunderbird 2 says 5 phrases but the other vehicles only say 3 phrases, the vehicles phrases are spoken by their pilot
Disadvantages: The batteries don't last very long, the vehicles are made of plastic so they may break easily in small childrens hands, the lever used to release the pod sometimes jams

I am 9 years old and absolutely love anything to do with Thunderbirds and this my opinion of the Soundtech Thunderbird Two toy. Thunderbirds are oh broken

Advantages: Can't think of any
Disadvantages: cheap plastic that breaks, expensive

...I have a 4 year old son, who is absolutly mad on Thunderbirds, so a while back I brought him the soundtech Thunderbird 2 from our local Argos store, in the brochure it look great, it came complete with the Mole and Thunderbird 4, it features 5 (meant to be) authentic phrases and it was inclusive of batteries and all for £9.99, so with my son in tow, we took a trip into town, armed with his pocket money we ventured into Argos. Well after waiting in the que, he gave the cashier his slip and money, and he got his ticket to go and wait for his toy, after 10 minutes it arrived, when I saw it my first impression were it's so small, I was expecting it to be bigger, but my son had a big smile and couldn't wait to get home. Thunderbirds are GO! (Sorry...)

Advantages: Story okay for kids, humour brilliant for adults
Disadvantages: Okay so the plot's weak.. .but who cares?!?!?

...I saw Thunderbirds without very high expectations - it looked like a cheesy kids adventure with no real surprises in store. Still, I was interested to see what they did with the concept of Gerry Anderson's vintage puppet show. Taste the cheese. The cheese is goooooooooooood. I wasn't born when the puppets of International Rescue first started strutting their heroic stuff no TV, and by the time I became fashionable again, I was too old to want to watch it. Thunderbirds Are .... Pretty Good Actually!

Advantages: Good fun, entertaining, well realised
Disadvantages: Weak plot

...It seems ages ago since I saw Thunderbirds. In fact, it was our anniversary on July 25th, so it wasn?t too long ago really, but I have seen two other films at the cinema since. Oh well, Ciao have caught up now and Thunderbirds is finally listed, so let me cast my mind back. Well, a couple of weeks ago is a long time at my age ;-) I have never been a huge fan of Thunderbirds. I remember watching a story with alligators on the projector at home during my childhood, as Dad had it on those old films. Thunderbirds, Ho! No, wait, wrong animal...

Advantages: Incredibly loyal to what made Thunderbirds what it was
Disadvantages: Lacklustre plot

...I?ve been a fan of the original Thunderbirds for as long as I can remember (I?ve even got most issues of Thunderbirds Magazine, in case that didn?t sound sad enough by itself) and had intended to see the new film as soon as it came out. That plan died when I discovered it was coming out two days before I was due to go on a Summer School for which I needed to cram desperately in order to avoid humiliating myself, so as it happened I did in fact see it nearly three weeks after it came out (ie yesterday). No Strings Attatched

Advantages: Classic Thunderbirds theme, Asteroids sections are simple fun
Disadvantages: Basic visuals, no invention, waste of licence, no lasting appeal

...of a screen and must rotate and fire at various debris that floats around you in what is, truth be told, nothing more than a tarted-up (and somehow even simpler) version of Asteroids, though a bit of mindless enjoyment for a nonetheless. It's dull and undemanding in the main, though the Thunderbird 2 transporting sections at least make occasional use of the scenery mapping, as you are forced to manoeuvre around higher ground or else risk losing your payload which hangs from the winch. The rather tight time-limits add some frustration into the mix - often you will be given three minutes or more to fulfil a number of collect-and-deliver scenarios but it leaves little room for error and more often than not, one slip up leaves you no chance of finishing the task in time. As tricky as these sections can be, the shooting bits are ludicrously simple...

...Thunderbirds is a popular TV programme, especially with boys. There is Thunderbird 5, Thunderbird 4, Thunderbird 3, 2 and 1. Where do they keep all these crafts? In Tracy Island, of course! Tracy Island is an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Jeff Tracy owns Tracy Island. It looks quite small on the outside, but is really big on the inside, like the TARDIS! Thunderbird 5 lives in space and receives messages then sends them to Jeff. Thunderbird 4 lives at the bottom of Tracy Island and does the underwater jobs.
