...Since there are less than two weeks until I bid a temporary farewell to Ciao and head off to Andalucia for two weeks of backpacking, sherry and tapas, I thought I would inject some Iberian culture into today's reviews. And what better way than to review what is, in my opinion, the finest of Spanish director Pedro Almodovar's movies. The director is famous for his art-house black comedies and "Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down" (1990) is probably the darkest of all. ...The Sansa Clip is a small mp3 player, but in my opinion is better than others the same size, such as the i pod shuffle. Its small, stylish and black and has a clip on the back so is perfect for the gym or walking about. It also has a small display screen on the front. I tend to listen to the radio alot, which on this player is easy to tune in and gets great reception, you can also reset a number of stations which is handy. I found it easy to upload music. It comes with a cable, once connected its shows in my computer and you can just drag music across. The only bad thing is that it does not recognizes i tunes, and other downloaded songs seem to be a problem, but generally it is pretty good. ...Although this mp3 player is only 1" diagonally what it lacks in size it makes up for in quality and features. I found this product so simple to use that i would recommend it for younger or less experienced users. Features include a built in microphone and a built in fm tuner as well as a handy clip which can be clipped onto virtually anything making it the ideal compact mp3 player for anybody on the move. Installing the mp3 player onto my laptop and pc was very easy and uploading music was very fast. 1gb is the perfect size to hold music as well as picture and text documents. ...Thanks for reading my latest review on the Binatone Clip 100 caller display unit. I don’t know why I brought this but the deal I was offered on Price-Drop.Tv was too good to be true. This is the easiest caller display unit that I have ever used. For some unknown reason people who have these units are worried about who is calling. If it’s a Bailiff number you just don’t answer the phone, it has its good points and bad points. Anyway enough of my Gobledy Gook, onto the technical side of things. Its features include a caller display facility (which requires a caller display service enabled by your telephone company), a new call, Repeat call and a Battery Low indicator. ...I brought the SanDisk Sansa Clip 2gb black about 3 months ago from Amazon for £34.99 including postage and packaging. Its is very small, just 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. It has a small display screen at the top, with blue and yellow text. The lower half of the device has a dial with play, pause, fast forward, rewind and stop. The volume controls and on/off and hold buttons are on the side. It came in a box with the mp3 player, headphones, pc connecting cable and instructions. I shopped around before buying as I wanted a small mp3 player, but didn't want to spend too much money. I considered the i pod shuffle, but decided against it as I didn't like the fact it had no screen. This is what attracted me to the SanDisk, and the fact that it is so easy to use. ...Family - Ties of Blood (hereafter referred to as just Family) is a Hindi language (aka Bollywood) film which was released in January 2006 and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Aryeman Ramsay with Bhoomika Chawla, Gulshan Grover, Raza Murad and Shernaz Patel in supporting roles. Family was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi (who also wrote the screenplay) and produced by Amitabh Bachchan and Keshu Ramsay (whose son happens to play one of the leads). The film is rated PG as it contains some scenes of violence and runs for 2½ hours. ++++++++ Viren Sahai (Bachchan) is a bit of a gangster, a don, one might say. ...The bouncing souls are a great punk band from new jersey America, they are and have been one of my favourite bands for quite a few year now and probably for a long time to come too. They were formed in 1987, and are well known in the punk scene for their light-hearted fast punk rock songs. This tie one on album was recorded live in 1998 however the quality is great and much better than the more recent live album which was actually recorded in 005. The first tracks off this album were recorded live at the Continental in New York City. The final 9th track of this album entitled “kid” was recorded in the studio and later released on their next studio album following its success on this live EP. Ties and bow ties are made of quality Italian silk and there is a good variety of ties for men of all ages. The £9.99 twill bosani ties are conservative in design and aimed at the older businessmen. At the other end of the spectrum there are the more 'trendy' ties that are associated with City workers. These are the woven ties priced at £17.50 which are definately value for money. They are the most expensive ties stocked and the reason being is that they are made from silk designs woven into the tie itself, making it more thicker and longer lasting than the others.
