Although I'm not really a golf fan, I have tapped into this series on a couple of occasions previously with the 2004 and 2008 editions. Both these editions were on the PC so I decided to take the plunge and buy Tiger Woods 2010 on the Xbox 360. I was reluctant to pay the full asking price of £40, so when I saw it reduced to £30 in Game I decided to buy it. Real Time Weather For the first time, Tiger Woods 2010 boasts realtime weather. This means that if its raining on your selected course at the time you are playing your round, it will be raining in the game. This is a nice touch and is very appropriate when playing online tournaments as people who have the better conditions will have more of a chance of posting a decent score, sadly...

...I have always been a fan of the Tiger Woods series and the latest addition is no let down. I have played these titles on the PC and playsation but the added enjoyment of actually `playing` a shot on the wii brings a new dimension. The control can be a little difficult to get used to even on the easiest setting, but anyone who has played the Tiger games knows that the more you play the easier it gets. The key of course is to play and build up your attributes, for every game you play you earn points to add to your skills, as you power up yor skills the stroke play becomes easier, soon you`ll be hitting greens in one. Simply put this is the best golf game ever and played on this platform it gives endless fun. Longlasting too as you always try to better yourself...in short highly recommended, buy it now!...

...My husband and I bought a Nintendo Wii last year and for a while only had the Wii sports game for it. We loved the golf game as it was so realistic to play so when it came up to my husbands birthday I decided to buy him a new game and had heard good things about Tiger Woods Golf in other formats so decided to buy him one for the Wii. It was the same price as most of the other Wii games you can buy £35.99 which I think is a bit expensive but if you get the play out of them then it's not too bad. The first thing I noticed about this game is that it is a lot more realistic that the golf on the Wii sports. The graphics for one are a lot lot better and include almost photo type images of the players. It's not like the other Wii game where you get the little charachters with bobbly heads/feat and arms. ...So, the first Tiger Woods game to hit the Xbox 360. Obviously, you would be expecting EA to deliver on graphics, gameplay and online play. Partly because its a Tiger Woods game, but mostly because its the first to be released on the 360. I have to say, on all 3 of these fronts, the game delivers what is expected. The graphics are especially good, for a game made in 2006, I can't see much difference in graphics compared to the 2009 version. Gameplay is almost as good as the graphics. The tiger is most known for his incredible power. I watched a competition last year where he drove the ball 370 yards. That is a phenominal distance. I'v also seen him drive par 4's before.....with a 3 wood! It's incredible power that is unparralled at the moment. Tiger is not only incredibly powerful, he has the sweetest touches around the greens. I've never seen him hit a chip to outside 5 inches before, and when he gets out the sand wedge for those all important 60 yard pitches, it's just amazing how close he can get it.
