There are two ways of doing this, the simplest way is to go through a series of attributes for skin colour, hair colour/style, eye, colour style, etc. This is relatively simple to do but doesn't create a golfer that bears much resemblance to yourself. Tiger Woods 10 uses something called Photo Game Face which has appeared in the last 2 or 3 versions of the game. Photo Game Face allows you to upload front and side face photos of yourself to easportsworld.com and the game will then try and create your face based on the facial features on your photos. Advantages: Good new putting system. Good career gameplay.
Disadvantages: Similar to previous games. Graphics feel sightly animated.

For those of you who have played a tiger woods? game before, the swing used to be too easy as you didn't have to follow through straight. Now everything is recorded and is made clear on the screen so that you can see where you have gone wrong. The graphics, in my opinion, seem to have gone beyond looking realistic and sometimes making it look too computerized, like it is animated. However, the graphics are still really good and improve enjoyment of the game. There are new game play modes, like new years. However in my opinion they don't add too much to the game but a different way in playing golf itself by challenging yourself. The one thing that I think lacks from these games are different courses as you basically get the same ones each year...

...I recently brought the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 Game on the XBOX 360 and found it really enjoyable and extremely challenging. Its graphics are superb, I was amazed as to the extent they went with them, it was as if you were seeing the courses in real life. There are 12 courses to play with also 17 game modes to go through, for example stroke play, match play and foursomes. Just a few of the courses are Bandon Dunes, Pebble Beach, Glen Abbey just to name a few. Broadcast commentry is played out as the game goes through the different stages. There are also the other PGA tour players who are in the game also. All the stokes are done through the mini joysticks on the remote. Tiger Woods 09: the best golf game ever made

Advantages: gameplay graphics career online play multiplayer capabilities ease of use
Disadvantages: you need to know a bit about golf --- sound effects can be annoying

...a coloured ball flight line within the hole. I found that there is a big disadvantage with this, although it can't be helped. Since 18 holes in simultaneous play would take about 30 minutes, and that there is a time limit on how long you can spend on each shot. If the phone goes off etc. thats you lost the match. There are other online types as well though; 9 hole golf, 3 hole mini match, 4 ball 18 holes etc. In terms of career, its a good length, although it gets a bit boring after a while. This is because of the amount of events you need to win to complete the tour side of the game. The Tiger Woods "career" doesn't take nearly as long to complete although it can get quite tricky.
