Miracle Results - TIGI Bed Head Control Freak
Review of TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo by
soph71
Advantages: Amazing results after a week, lathers brilliantly, adds moisture and shine, bottle lasts for months
Disadvantages: Expensive, limited availability
...TIGI Bed Head Control Shampoo, something I decided to try after giving up on the useless Redken range that left my hair feeling completely drained of moisture and out of condition.
On the advice of my stylist I bought a bottle of the shampoo from the Tony & Guy salon for £8 for a bottle that held 350ml of the shampoo. Even though this was expensive to quote an advertising slogan, I bought it "because I'm worth it" and I wanted my hair back to the way it had been before my disastrous union with Redken.
The shampoo smells really fruity, too fruity my partner tells me. It reminds me of opening a tin of pineapple chunks and the sweet smell of the syrup and fruit blending together. It is strong, but I find it lovely and even after washing you can smell it lingering on each strand of hair.
Consistency is quite thick which I find very...

TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo
Review of TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo by
NataliePhelan
Advantages: Smells nice
Disadvantages: Gooey, leaves hair heavy
...My hair is constantly suffering identity crises, it can never decide whether its frizzy or curly or greasy or what. At the moment its frizzy and I cant go more than 24 hours without needing to wash it again. I used to be lucky enough to be able to go three days with it staying clean looking, feeling, smelling.
Ive tried aton of shampoos and conditioners.
I bought my Control Freak from the Clothesshow Live last December. It was cheaper there and I got a set of 4 matching products for just 20 quid, not bad going considering they're close to £10 each in salons.
You can buy your Bed Head online, ion several hair and beauty websites, as well as in many salons. The packaging is always interesting and brightly coloured, you definately notice Bed Head when you walk past a display in a salon window.
The products always smell lovely...

The ONLY Control Freak That You Want To Be With!
Review of TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo by
anya_lahiri
Advantages: Protects Colour, Prevents Frizz, Helps Straighten Out Hair, Protects Hair When Using Heated Styling Implements
Disadvantages: The Shampoo Is Gunky, Makes You Think That It Will Make Your Hair Greasy-BUT IT DOES NOT!
...~~~FIRSTLY, THE PRODUCT CATEGORY FOR THIS SHOULD SAY ‘TIGI BED HEAD CONTROL FREAK SHAMPOO’ CIAO HAS PUT THE WORD BEAD INSTEAD OF BED I DON’T KNOW WHY THEY HAVE DONE THIS AND I HAVE ASKED FOR IT TO BE CORRECTED~~~
Well I’ve always been known for liking change, and the way I express my creative flair is through the different ways in which I experiment with my hair. The first time I did my hair I turned it a tippex white colour! Which I must admit I loved greatly at the time, in fact it was a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) jobby-like most things I do in my life :-P- which made me love it even more so! I have experimented with my hair so much that I have had a variety of colours; to name a few I can remember: orange, white, green, pink grapefruit, varying stages of blonde, varying stages of brown etc. Yet one day I woke up, looked in the mirror...

EXERCISE SOME FREAKING CONTROL…
Review of TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Serum by
tiggerishone
Advantages: Smooth, even, shiny hair...the bottle design
Disadvantages: A bit expensive, only available in salons, greasy hair if too much is applied
...I’m guessing that a lot of you out there are going to think that I am some sort of freak of nature (or incredibly rich) when I tell you that I spent £9.50 on a mere 250ml of this serum. Hold back your judgement a second…for here’s why this scroungy student wouldn’t think twice about forking out for it again.
This ‘Control Freak’ serum is part of TIGI’s ‘Bed Head’ range: TIGI being a haircare company that were formed in the 1970’s to meet the needs of Toni and Guy hairstylists- firstly in their stage work and subsequently in their chain of salons. Since then, however, TIGI have expanded and their products are no longer to be found exclusively used and sold in branches of Toni and Guy, but are also proudly displayed in a wide variety of non-franchise salons.
The ‘Bed Head’ range is innovative: brightly coloured, ‘in...

Gorgeous hair for control freaks!
Review of TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo by
missie123
Advantages: great hair
Disadvantages: price
...Recently it seems I can’t seem to get away from expensive beauty products. Perhaps I am becoming more vain, or, more likely, I have made the unconscious decision to not be such a cheap-skate when it comes to buying hair and make-up products. I am beginning to realise that paying more for something sometimes, (but not always!) gives better results. This is defiantly the case with my latest purchase – TIGI Bed Head ‘control freak’ shampoo.
TIGI is a great brand that makes all kind of expensive hair care and styling products. It is sold “only in professional salons”, and you’ll be lucky to find a bottle of anything under 6 or 7 quid. They do everything from shampoo and conditioner to sprays and oils and mousses and serums. Basically if you have a feature of your hair that you don’t like they will have a product to sort it out for you...
