TIGI Manipulator Conditioner: A hairdressers' POV
Review of TIGI Bed Head Manipulator Conditioner by
MrMotoOne
Advantages: Leaves hair in fantastic condition/ smooth/ soft/ detangles/ prevents spit ends
Disadvantages: Expensive
...TIGI Manipulator Conditioner: A hairdressers' point of view
I have decided to start reviewing a number of TIGI & haircare products that I use at work
(at TONI&GUY).
Product Homepage: tigihaircare.com
RRP: £8.70 (250ml)
I use Manipulator conditioner of 90% of clients at TONI&GUY, as it such a great conditioner for most hair. I think of it as the 'standard' conditioner at work, although results are outstanding. It is a daily conditioner, but as TIGI products tend to more concentrated than other brands, you only need to use a small amount.
Directions:
After washing your hair 2 times with your shampoo (e.g. Manipulator shampoo) rinse hair
well and squeeze out excess water. Rub a small amount of conditioner through your hands and
run your fingers though the ends of your hair (the driest part). Once the ends are smooth...

Miracle Results - TIGI Bed Head Control Freak
Review of TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo by
soph71
Advantages: Amazing results after a week, lathers brilliantly, adds moisture and shine, bottle lasts for months
Disadvantages: Expensive, limited availability
...TIGI Bed Head Control Shampoo, something I decided to try after giving up on the useless Redken range that left my hair feeling completely drained of moisture and out of condition.
On the advice of my stylist I bought a bottle of the shampoo from the Tony & Guy salon for £8 for a bottle that held 350ml of the shampoo. Even though this was expensive to quote an advertising slogan, I bought it "because I'm worth it" and I wanted my hair back to the way it had been before my disastrous union with Redken.
The shampoo smells really fruity, too fruity my partner tells me. It reminds me of opening a tin of pineapple chunks and the sweet smell of the syrup and fruit blending together. It is strong, but I find it lovely and even after washing you can smell it lingering on each strand of hair.
Consistency is quite thick which I find very...

Tigi Bed Head Moisture Maniac
Review of TIGI Bed Head Conditioner by
SugarSweetUK
Advantages: Really, really works and smells scrummy!
Disadvantages: A bit pricey...but worth it
.../or curly hair. Dont feel you cant try it if you dont have "dry/damaged" hair either, I think anyone needing just that little bit of "oomph" after being out in the sun or wind especially during the summer months would benefit from this product.
It is widely available thru many websites or any salon that sells Tigi Bed Head products.
The only problem I have found is that the Moisture Maniac Shampoo is sold in a MASSIVE sized bottle and this conditioner only seems to come in a 250ml ( 8.5 fl.oz.) bottle.
This is the best moisturising conditioner I have used in a long while. Plus I love that "fruit salad" scent I have all day whenever the wind blows without needing to step foot inside a salon ;)
Highly recommended to try especially if you have tried all the rest.
Update as per comment requests :) General price online and in shops is £8...

NO MORE BED HAIR FOR ME ;-)
Review of TIGI Bed Head Hair Care Finishing After-Party Smoothing cream by
Morning_Becomes_Electra
Advantages: A fantastic smell that lasts all day.
Disadvantages: Use too much and it will make your hair appear greasy
... TIGI BEDHEAD AFTER PARTY
"Doesn`t matter if you are a Dumb Blonde or a Mastermind, a Manipulator or Creative Genius ........ we have shampoos, conditioners and styling tools to complete your lifestyle."
I love Tigi products. They are fun, funky and great to use. In their brightly coloured containers, with their kitsh designs they are a very attractive addition to display on your bathroom shelf, or dressing table.
Tigi 'Bed Head After Party' comes in a shocking pink straight up bottle with a clear bubble cap, deliberately phallic in appearance, and it states on the bottle it is a smoothing cream for silky, shiny, healthy looking hair. The contents are 100ml/3.4oz. Printed on back of the bottle it says Tigi products can only be bought from professional salons, but I have bought...

TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo
Review of TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo by
NataliePhelan
Advantages: Smells nice
Disadvantages: Gooey, leaves hair heavy
...My hair is constantly suffering identity crises, it can never decide whether its frizzy or curly or greasy or what. At the moment its frizzy and I cant go more than 24 hours without needing to wash it again. I used to be lucky enough to be able to go three days with it staying clean looking, feeling, smelling.
Ive tried aton of shampoos and conditioners.
I bought my Control Freak from the Clothesshow Live last December. It was cheaper there and I got a set of 4 matching products for just 20 quid, not bad going considering they're close to £10 each in salons.
You can buy your Bed Head online, ion several hair and beauty websites, as well as in many salons. The packaging is always interesting and brightly coloured, you definately notice Bed Head when you walk past a display in a salon window.
The products always smell lovely...

Tropical Tresses (Part I)
Review of TIGI Bed Head Manipulator Shampoo by
carly_pussycat
Advantages: Lovely tropical aroma, deep cleanses hair, makes hair v.silky & knot free
Disadvantages: Full size is expensive (although will last a while)
...Tigi Bed Head is my latest craze, so when I saw that my sister had a Manipulator set consisting of 125ml shampoo, 125ml conditioner and the full size Manipulator styling product I just had to have one. This review is on the Manipulator shampoo.
MANIPULATOR SHAMPOO
Although my bottle is smaller than full size it’s still the same design – a clear plastic cylindrical bottle with a pop up nozzle for a cap (like a sports water bottle) which you can also unscrew to pour the very last bit out. The shampoo is a rather attractive shade of pearlescent turquoise.
Thankfully the nozzle is easy to pop up, even with soaking wet hands, and the pearly shampoo squeezes out just as easily. I generally use a blob just a bit bigger than a two pound coin. It is quite thick in consistency and massaging it into my hair and scalp for about...

Nice stuff
Review of TIGI Bed Head Hair Care Styling Manipulator by
andrewxox
Advantages: Good hold, washes out easily, doesnt dry hard or tug hair, nice smell
Disadvantages: Price
...I first came across Tigi Bed Head Manipulator when my previous hairdresser used it to style the spikes in my hair. I was impressed with it and bought some because it was on two for one at the salon - £10 for two. I haven't ran out but I would wait to find a similar deal before restocking because £10 for one pot just doesn't seem sensible, even if it is a great styling product.
It has a good hold and yet it doesnt go rock hard which is what I like. Not only do I use it to make my hair stand up, but I use it to make my layers more defined. You only need a very small amount, specially if you use the 'clappy' method - which I still need practice on. You get a small amount on a finger from each hand and keep pulling away and putting together in a clapping motion and eventually it will evenly fall over your hair making a light but strong...

Funky Gunk!
Review of TIGI Bed Head Manipulator A Funky Gunk That Rocks! by
MattyP007
Advantages: Very quick and easy to use.
Disadvantages: More expensive than some other brands.
...I love the Tigi Bedhead Manipulator and have been using it for quite a long time now. It is a great product for acheiving that just got out of bed (but secretly we all know it took hours) look. It is quick and easy to use and smells great - the mrs loves it. It is funky, modern and young!
This product is hard to describe, it isn't spray or gel, not like mousse or wax. Tigi describe it best and so I am going to steal the line from them it is "a funky gunk that rocks". Gunk is the best way to decribe this, or possibly putty which sounds much better.
It is hard to describe the small - I think it smells fruity but everyone I talk to seems to think it smells like something else.
In a morning or before a big night out simply put a pea sized amount in the palm of your hand that run your fingers through wet or dry hair.
Personally...

Tigi Headrush Shine Adrenaline
Review of TIGI Bed Head Headrush by
samy12345
Advantages: Gorgeous fine mist of shine
Disadvantages: Perhaps the price for somepeople
...I am a self confessed product junkie, however I tend to buy products that will improve my skin or my hair, I don’t tend to buy products designed to make it look better. I usually wouldn’t buy a styling product that costs around £12.
Last Christmas my mum brought me some Tigi hair styling products and one of them was Tigi Bed Head Headrush Shine Adrenaline. When I saw the bright pink trendy can I thought straight away it looked cool but wasn’t sure it would be that good-anyway I decided to use it.
I washed my hair as usual and blow-dried and straightened it then I sprayed it on being very careful not to use to much because a lot of shine sprays can leave your hair greasy, the first thing I noticed was the lovely smell, Tigi sure know how to make their products smell fantastic. I ran my fingers through my hair and though wow it feels so...
