...I have very long hair which has been highlighted in the past (last time about a year ago). I wasn't very happy with the conditioners I had been using and so I went looking in salons for a better one. I always buy salon shampoos and conditioners because in my experience, and I have tried lots, the shop ones just aren't as good. It makes sense when you think about it; if the shop brands are as great as their adverts will have you believe, then why don't the salons use them? This one was recommended to me by the staff in one of the salons I went in. They said it was especially good for long hair and that although it was pricey you only have to use a tiny amount, about the size of a 10p in your palm, and it is very effective. ...TIGI Manipulator Conditioner: A hairdressers' point of view I have decided to start reviewing a number of TIGI & haircare products that I use at work (at TONI&GUY). Product Homepage: tigihaircare.com RRP: £8.70 (250ml) I use Manipulator conditioner of 90% of clients at TONI&GUY, as it such a great conditioner for most hair. I think of it as the 'standard' conditioner at work, although results are outstanding. It is a daily conditioner, but as TIGI products tend to more concentrated than other brands, you only need to use a small amount. ...I was a little disappointed by this Tigi Conditioner, it smells absolutely fantastic though I have to say. I have quite dry, slightly damaged hair and was looking for an injection of moisture to my hair. I left the conditioner in my hair for roughly 5 minutes so that I would get the full impact of the conditioners properties, but when rinsing my hair felt quite dry and a bit tangled, usually a sign that it will feel quite dry when it is dry. I used a hairdryer to dry my hair with and my hair didn't feel as moisturised as it does with some conditioners but it wasn't as dry as I was expecting it to be after the rinse. My hair definitely was not as soft and moisturised as I thought it would be though. However, my hair was very shiney after using this and looked quite healthy. ...I would definitely recommend this conditioner. My hair is quite fine and slightly damaged as I haven't had time to get a hair cut in over 6 months and I use hair straighteners quite often but after using this conditioner, leaving it in my hair for roughly 5 minutes, my hair looked so healthy and shiney and felt soft, smooth, detangled and healthier than it has done in a long time. I've tried all sorts of conditioners before claiming miracles but this one actually did work, even after straightening my hair after using this conditioner, my hair still feels so soft. The smell however, is not the best that tigi has to offer. It smells great in the bottle, when I put it on to my hair however, it didn't smell quite the same. Not bad, just not as nice. Once it had been rinsed out and my hair dried, the smell still lingered quite strongly... Read review

Dont feel you cant try it if you dont have "dry/damaged" hair either, I think anyone needing just that little bit of "oomph" after being out in the sun or wind especially during the summer months would benefit from this product. It is widely available thru many websites or any salon that sells Tigi Bed Head products. The only problem I have found is that the Moisture Maniac Shampoo is sold in a MASSIVE sized bottle and this conditioner only seems to come in a 250ml ( 8.5 fl.oz.) bottle. This is the best moisturising conditioner I have used in a long while. Plus I love that "fruit salad" scent I have all day whenever the wind blows without needing to step foot inside a salon ;) Highly recommended to try especially if you have tried all the rest.
