A quick Flash in the kitchen
Review of Flash (Tiles/Kitchen Cleaners) by
SusanLesley
Advantages: Smells nice, cleans well, is cheap and easy to use
Disadvantages: None
...I have just spent the last 15 minutes in my hands and knees in the kitchen – and I was only cleaning the floor!
Seriously I do have one of those squeegee things on a pole but I can never seem to get the right amount of pressure on it to get it to work properly – so I get down on my hands and knees with a bowl of water and the floor cloth.
Before I start I add the magic ingredient to my bowl of water – Flash All Purpose Cleaner which is made by Proctor and Gamble.
At the moment I am using the Ocean Fresh fragrance, which does smell really nice, but there are others namely Pine, Lemon and Pot Pourri. I paid somewhere in the region of £2.50 for a 500ml bottle. As with a lot of my purchases I usually wait until it’s on special offer and buy a couple at a time.
The instructions on the back of the bottle...

flash - shower spray cleaner
Review of Flash (Tiles/Kitchen Cleaners) by
SecretFormula
Advantages: quick and easy
Disadvantages: none
...I have just discovered the new Flash Shower Spray, and as the label says, you just spray and walkaway!!
Sure right you do, after you have used the shower, just spray all the areas, such as tiles, bath, shower, and shower curtain, basically all the parts that get wet and are prone to limescale / tidal marks.
This product reduces all limescale build up, especially as i live in a hard water area, I find this product excellent. There is no need to have to wipe and scrub you just 'spray and walkaway'!!!!
If you can see any smeary marks just make sure that you don't use as much next time. I have been using this for about 3 weeks and still have a little left - and I'm quite heavy handed and always use too much when it comes to cleaning products!!!
It has a really nice smell to it and the bottle is see through with the spray being...

'My Partner in Grime!'
Review of Aldi (Tiles/Kitchen Cleaners) by
bistro
Advantages: Great cleaning power. Leaves barely any residue. Wonderful fresh fragrance. Kills germs. Price!
Disadvantages: An Aldi own brand.
...the change in colour of the clear liquid, as it ran down the frame. Like a mudslide collecting more and more debris as it travelled, getting darker all the time. A hurried and light wipe with a damp cloth was sufficient to bring the frames a new respectability.
When it came to the tiles, results were equally stunning, and achieved with little effort too. I just sprayed, wiped, and hey presto!
When I initially began this chore, I also got out my ‘Ciff’ cream cleaner to keep in abeyance for the tougher areas I envisaged, but halfway round the kitchen, I put it back in the cupboard due to the superb performance of this spray.
The worst area this ‘Power Force’ spray had to deal with was the undersides of the melamine kitchen cupboards. You know… where the toaster’s emitted black sooty smoke from burnt toast, and where the kettle’s been...

Give Me A Flash And I'll Clean Your Bath
Review of Flash (Tiles/Kitchen Cleaners) by
SandraR
Advantages: Makes cleaning so much easier and they smell nice too.
Disadvantages: None yet.
...I've always been a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to cleaning. My kitchen cupboard is full of cream cleaners, liquid cleaners, cleaners that claim to be the only cleaner you'll ever need for every job in the house and separate cleaners for separate jobs. I also have a selection of dusters, scourers and cloths.
Now I don't know about the rest of you but I hate cleaning the bathroom. I've been looking for a product that will help me keep it sparkling and fresh without the need for endless hours of scrubbing and as a quick look in my cupboard will tell you, I've tried just about everything on the market.
You know how it is when it comes to cleaning the bathroom, first the sink, this usually means lots of hot water and a towel round the base of it to stop my carpet from getting flooded. First you have to wipe, then use...

Muscles in the kitchen..... mmmmm
Review of Mr Muscle Kitchen Cleaner by
Anfield
Advantages: all grease banished really fast.
Disadvantages: not many at all.
...’t you are a man of course)
Once I have finished creating this lethal concoction of a breakfast, added toast and handed it over to Trevor, I return to the kitchen and the sight that meets my eyes is sad, very sad indeed.
I am going to need HELP.
Crumbs, eggshells, can lids and tea stains on one counter top. To the other side we have greasy, sticky meat wrappers and sploshes of fat from the spatula when trying to disengage the eggs from the pan and onto the plate in one piece.
Bacon rind litters the immediate area close to the cooker, the grill is swimming in melted fat and grease, and the beans have bubbled so much in the frantic coordinated rush that they have managed to get spatters up the side of the tiles.
Now at this stage I am usually sorely tempted to close the door and pretend that all is well, and leave it to some...

Cleaner surfaces as a result
Review of Mr Muscle Kitchen Cleaner by
sam123
Advantages: see above
Disadvantages: -
....
On the cooker the surface was burnt so I sprayed it and scrubbed it and left it, and wiped it after an hour and most of the burnt stains had gone. Though I did have to repeat the process a few times. It was good on tiles and did leave them looking good.
Let me tell you it was not easy cleaning the kitchen a lot of scrubbing had to be done, but with the aid of this product everything was done quickly and the end result was pleasing.
Like I said we had to use many bottles, it just needs a spray and wipe but really it depends on the surface you are using. If you are using it simple to clean work tops it needs a little squirt.
In summary a product that saved me time and made our kitchen look cleaner....

To clean or not to clean!
Review of Coop (Tiles/Kitchen Cleaners) by
Flo57
Advantages: A easy to use spray
Disadvantages: Little perfume
...Unfortunately, everybody at some time has to clean their kitchen and bathroom. There are so many products on the market sometimes its difficult to choose which is the best one for the job.
Also, the prices vary so much, cheaper, is not always better as I found out when I purchased Co-Ops Multi-surface Kitchen cleaner at a cost of one pound for a 500 ml spray bottle.
The spray bottle is white with a green picture of kitchen tiles and the CO-OP logo in blue and white writing to describe what you are buying.
As someone who always does the shopping, the look of the product does not draw your attention and make you think 'That looks really good, maybe, I'll try it'!
On the back of the bottle are the directions for use. As my eye-sight is not what it once was, I have to peer very carefully to see how I should be using this particular...

Easy Cleaning
Review of Tesco (Tiles/Kitchen Cleaners) by
sarah.shipley
Advantages: use on all surfaces
Disadvantages: none
...When it comes to kitchen cleaners I don't really mind what make I use as long as it cleans and contains bleach, that is until I discovered Tesco's own brand.
It is on offer at the moment for 79p (500ml spray bottle). The great thing about this is that there is a black clip and when squeezed together acts as a lock so any little fingers (like my 4 year old boy) won't be able to spray it here there and everywhere.
The cleaner is suitable for all types of surfaces including sinks, work tops, cookers, tiles and so on (I use it everywhere). Even though there is bleach in the cleaner there is no horrible smell (I hate the smell of bleach) and leaves all my surfaces clean with quite a nice fragrance, which doesn't last very long but as long as all germs are being killed and the kitchen is getting disinfected what does it matter...

My smart kitchen tiles
Review of Mosaic wall tiles by
mumsymary
Advantages: look grear
Disadvantages: took ages to stick on walls
...As a lot of you know I have recently had an extension on the house which has provided me with lots of ideas for reviews .We decided to go for a country style kitchen with pine units and laminate wood plank type floor. When in B&Q we looked at the wall tiles to go around the sink area and behind the cooker to act as a splash back. We decided we liked the mosaic tiles best. These are small tiles in a mixture of colours we decided on greens and browns keeping our colours in the kitchen natural. On the pack it says multi as it is an assortment of colours These tiles come in packs of 4 they cost £43.98p a pack. Each tile measures 305 mm wow that’s expensive do you really think we can afford it as we need about £250 to buy enough to cover the area we want to. But they are so much nicer than the cheaper tiles. So we paid out for them...

Easy lay tiles
Review of homebase vinyl tiles, for kitchens/bathrooms by
danielalong
Advantages: Easy to lay
Disadvantages: slippy
...on to the next tile.
When you get to the end of the row, cut the last tile to fit.
**Warnings**
After the tiles have been laid, do not wash the floor for a week.
Do not fix over underfloor heating
**Available colours**
They are available in a range of colours. We chose the black but there are buff, stone and wooden effect tiles.
**Verdict**
Having laid tiles in bathrooms and kitchens, we have always found it to be a laborious task, requiring some specialist equipment, and over the years have had a variety of tile cutters which I somehow often manage to break. There is also the question of the number of tiles I have managed to snap or which break during the cutting process.
This method was surprisingly simple. The floor was already clear of dirt and previous flooring and was level.
Since our floor...
