Advantages: SImply Brilliant music
Disadvantages: Slightly too short

.... Morello carries the song with a slow 3/4 beat that drives the piece forward. This is rather more of a showcase for Brubeck's talent, with the piano being the focus of the piece through out. What this piece does is show complete progression in music styles; all of which are presented in this CD. 6) EVERYBODY'S JUMPIN': Is a melody almost without a key at the beginning. This is a further easy listening track. A particular highlight is the saxophone solo of Paul Desmond, reminding me why I liked the saxophone so much in the first place! 7) PICK UP STICKS: The final track on this short album. The piece is written in an unusual 6/4 time signature, highlighting the group's continual experimentation with time. Out of Lime (see what I done there)

Advantages: Eva Mendes, some nice action sequences, suspense
Disadvantages: Slight tedium, I got sick of watching it after awhile

...So here we have a mysterious thriller. Not my favorite genre to start with, but ho hey I watched it anyway. The story involves a police officer Matthias Whitlock (Denzel Washington), Matthias had been having an affair with a married woman who ends up having her house burnt down just after making him the beneficiary of her life insurance policy. As Matthias realises how this looks coupled with the facthe had actually been at the house the night of the fire he tries to conceal all evidence of his ever knowing the woman. However, his ex-wife (Eva Mendes) happens to be called in to take charge of the case (nothing is ever smple with hollywood) and he has to work against time in a variety of high pressure tasks to make sure she doesn't catch his scent. Out of Time goes on too long

Advantages: Completely unexpected twists. Keeps you on edge for most of the film
Disadvantages: Slow confusing start. Cheesy neat ending.

Guy Pearce as the time traveller has absolutely no idea what he is meant to be ? from the klutzy prof. in the first 20 minutes to the obsessed Tom Hanks in Cast Away type, to the curious and fascinated scienceatician, to the all-action hero. There is no character development - he merely does what is required, totally out of the blue. As such I couldn?t give a good goddamn what befell him, or what he made of his situation. Exiles: Volume 3 Out of Time

Advantages: X-men, good story, lots of stories
Disadvantages: one of the stories is borderline, but generally a great graphic novel

...series, personally I like seeing the alternate universes and the alternate character development, some of the stories are better than others but as a whole series its a compelling and enjoyable read, there are a few storylines that develop over a longer period, and some of the short stories included are reliant on some background knowledge, but generally each book is a fairly self sufficient story, and they mostly conclude in each graphic novel (so do not panic buy them all - you can take you time!) <Spoiler Warning - Some Plot/Story details> Out of Time introduces the other "Exiles" group known as Weapon X, and the two teams meet for the first time. R.E.M.: Out Of Time

Advantages: Diverse, creative, catchy alternative rock.
Disadvantages: Very slightly patchy.

...The major label breakthrough for the band who started out playing their new style of rock in pizza parlours and rundown churches. 11 years after forming, the greatest musical talent ever to grace the planet (in my humble opinion) are recognised by the world. Out Of Time is as diverse as any other R.E.M. album, and while not their best work, should definitely be heard. The album starts on a funky note with help from rapper KRS-1. This was the first time any rock band had teamed up with a rap artist, and the guys pulled it off well, Mills' sliding bassline complimenting Buck's chiming arpeggios.
