Advantages: Very good quality for the price, excellent value for money.
Disadvantages: None, unless you start comparing it to leading brands.

...These are a hidden gem at Tesco's, very undervalued and always placed on the bottom shelves - to make way for the other leading brands who have paid for the best shelf spaces, I guess... These are a box of tissues by Tesco's own value brand. They used to cost 36p for a box of 150 2-ply tissues. This already, without accounting for the quality of the tissues, is an absolute bargain in itself, excellent value for money. The quality of the tissues cannot really be compared with the leading brands. Not really as soft and as nicely folded, but in their own league, these Tesco Value tissues do hold their own. These are tough tissues, not that I mean they're like paper - when you hold one of these you will know what I mean - they don't tear easily and each individual ply is quite thick. When the tissue is torn there is hardly any dust...

Relief in a Tissue!

Advantages: Help to unblock you nose
Disadvantages: Effects don't last so long

...My daughter suffers from asthma and allergies and at this time of year, always seems to have the cold. She also has problems with her sinuses and finds it extremely difficult to blow her nose or sniff!! With the result her nose constantly streams. She goes through an endless amount of paper tissues and always seems to have very sore and red looking skin around her nostrils. Having said all this she never lets it get her down and is always a very happy cheery child. We always keep a box of tissues in every room in the house, except the bathroom where she just uses the toilet roll and in the kitchen where she just uses the kitchen roll! We also keep a box in the car. She'd been up during the night a couple of times as she was finding it very difficult to breath, but come morning time she was her usual bright self again...

Review of Lotus Tissues with Olbas Oil

Luxuriously soft toilet tissue.

Advantages: Great packaging, embossed, 3 ply, lovely and soft, good price.
Disadvantages: None.

...I have tried cheap toilet rolls in the past and I have tried expensive ones and I think that generally you have to pay for good quality ones. The four toilet rolls comes packaged in a polythene bag and it has a nice blue & gold logo on the front of the packaging which makes it feel quite luxurious. By squeezing the packet I can tell that these are quite soft. These Quilted toilet rolls are made up of 3 plys of toilet tissue and this gives it a nice thick, quilted feel and it is very soft. I did find it to be softer and thicker than 2 ply tissues and it is embossed with a nice clover leaf pattern so it even looks nice in my bathroom! There are 165 sheets per roll which is a little less than most standard toilet rolls but then as these are thicker I did find that I needed to use less. Bad Blow for Tesco Value Facial Tissues

...Tesco Value Tissues......... These Tesco Value Tissues were just one of the Tesco Value Range I decided to try out on my recent budget-shopping trip and I really think I should not have bothered. They come in at a little over the 50 pence margin, which is considerably cheaper than the rivals in this product such as Kleenex whose single boxes often sell for bordering on the £1.50 pence price range. However, even though the Tesco Value tissues are cheaper in comparison there is not really much more going for them other than this factor. The tissues themselves are a lot darker in colour than my usual Kleenex branded ones and have a very grey like appearance where as Kleenex are a lot whiter and cleaner looking. The tissues from the Tesco value range box are a lot trickier to get out of the box compared to the Kleenex...

These tissues wont cost you a packet

...Tissues were a very difficult find in my house before my daughter appeared on the scene, loo paper used to be used for the occasional blowing your nose and it would be a special trip to the chemist or supermarket if either my husband or me had a cold. This all changed on the birth of my daughter, tissues became a regular purchase on my weekly shop. Snot a great tissue

Advantages: none really although marketing was good
Disadvantages: product too small and expensive and fails to live up to the claims

...You remember the advert. Just hold this tissue in front of your face whilst I squirt you with water. Whoops! It's a normal tissue and you just got wet, here try this one. Punter is then handed a "Tempo" tissue and the exercise is repeated save this time there is no soaking as the tissue holds firm. Wow! Forgive my sarcasm. The challenge presented by companies seeking a new marketing edge for their products must have worn thin by now. We've had the bigger, softer, lotion impregnated and smelly varieties now we have a product that claims to combine all of these but with added strength. What next? A tissue that blows your nose for you? Or acts like a sanitary towel, absorbing the snot so you can re-use it again and again --- now there's a product idea if ever I saw one! ...Scar Tissue is by far one of the best written auto biographies i have ever read. Anthony Keidis (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) lets the reader into the highs and serious lows throughout his life. Starting with his young childhood living with his mother, where it seems he has a fairly normal life style. to his teens where he meets the love of his life and starts to dabble in drugs and his passion for music begins. His move LA is the start of the Red Hot Chilli Pepper on as a the band we know now. Dispite the success of the band it is not with out its trials and tribulations.
